Is this a rep or genuine? Safe to buy?

He says it's QC pics, I'm going to check it out in person tonight if it doesn't match the pics I won't buy it.

With all your questions here regarding this watch, I doubt you'll be able to spot the difference between the watch in the photos and a cheap DHGate rep. For you, the watch will seem a pretty good rep.

I may be wrong, but I don't think so.

Go the M2M or TD route if you want to sure you're getting the best possible rep.

Either way, it's your call.

Good luck

I don't see anything wrong with this watch in the pics I just posted. The 6 may look slightly off but that's it.

Ordering from a TD may take couple of weeks plus the risk of customs. Why shouldn't I just purchase this locally?

There are no customs risk if you order according to the dealers recommended shipping method. The worst that could happen is the watch is seized and you have to wait another two weeks.

how difficult would it be to spot differences if I'm closely examining the watch and the picture side by side? Yes I am new to rep watches which is why I'm here seeking advice but I mostly have just been getting a ton of criticism.

You're seeing it the wrong way.

Don't take it as criticism. Take it as friendly advice.

Most of the members here have been exposed to tons of scams throughout the years, either directly impacted or through the tons of scam reports in this and other forums. They know how these typically work, and they're telling you that, more than the tells in the photos you posted, it's the tells in the sale you described that are ringing all the alarms.

As you, I'm a newbie.
It would be near impossible for me to distinguish from a cheapo Rep and an image of a proper, high quality rep. So I'm guessing it will be the same to you.

Again, it's your call.

Good luck

The v2.5 was a terrible version of the PAM 111. It has a poor crownguard, reverse gearing and the swing amplitude modulation is horrific. Run...don't walk...away from that watch.

Op if you are this unsure about the quality of the watch you are trying to buy then don't buy it. If you don't want to wait, or take risk of customs etc then accept you will pay more locally and get a older less accurate rep of the pam111. Or take the advice of members (not me by the way) who know these models so well and go to the trusted dealer section choose a couple and then go for the v4 pam111 and you will be buying one of the latest and best models of this. To get it better than that send it to Merlin one of the top modders here he will get it even closer to gen.

You can pay around $20 for it, but I'm sure he'll take 15 if you don't act desperate. Wear it well [emoji106]

Mysterio is reading way too much into my posts and making assumptions. I was never "scammed" I bought a poor quality rep for $150 that I posted in previous thread.

I'm going to check it out this other PAM 111 today, this guy is a dealer here locally. he sent me pics he took of another watch in his possession

Thoughts?

Okay, if I'm not reading too much into your posts, then let me read something that's perfectly clear. Posting QC pics just for everyone to come and comment on what's wrong with them is strictly prohibited. But then you wouldn't know that because you don't spend the time to read. I'm all for helping out the new members but only if they are willing to do some leg work and help themselves first.

All of the information you need to sort out what your local dealer is selling you is in this section. No more QC pictures. Not even if the hands are nicely manicured.

He was serious... either take the time to read and learn or get scammed. The choice is yours. But no ones going to spoon feed you what has been posted on the board a thousand times.
And if you can't wait two weeks... then reps aren't for you.

Amazing patience displayed by the members here. I'm impressed at how far everyone went to help out the newbie.

Now @Tgz50 take a lesson from the information given to you but most importantly take a lesson from the patience shown to you. Then read the material in my signature below. It will be of great value to you in this hobby.

If you cannot identify that you received help from numerous members on here then I think you actually don't really want the help you have been so patiently offered?

Further - I have tried to guide you by posting EVERYTHING you need to know to get started. A "thank you" would have been nice, but you didn't even read that.

This hobby isn't going to work out for you unless you start taking note of what is being advised. It's there to help you.
