Those look like qc pictures from a dealer so I would suggest yes it's safe to buy as long as you realise it's a rep and should cost $258

What would be better about a TD rep? I kinda don't want to wait 2-3 weeks for it [emoji28] this ones local and I can pick it up

You ask is this re or genuine and safe to buy? Well you know it's a rep so that's easy but what price are you being offered this locally? Check the TD sites for the latest version and price and factor in shipping and customs risk and delay vs your local cost

You can get this version from a dealer for less than 300 but delay and customs risk is a factor. 400 for this rep is a rip off

There are tells just look at the movement to begin with and compare with a genuine. $340 is probably $50 profit for him which is reasonable

I haven't checked. I don't mind paying a bit more for what it would normally cost as long as it's a good rep - with that being said what do you think? Is there anything wrong with the watch you can spot from the pics?
So I brought him down to $300. Besides the movement is there anything else about it that is a tell?

If you want to be holding the gen beside this rep there are many. But is a rep and for 300 you have a nice watch that you can wear today and enjoy it!

£300 is better than £400 & I understand what your saying about delivery etc BUT if you got one on the M2M section then you wouldn't be paying over the odds,

From pictures it's hard to say but to me it looks a standard v2/3. Just check for obvious things like scratches or damage to screws and no dust under crystal etc
