I have also just ordered a Meteor from them, white gold though, will post pictures , not expecting it to arrive until 1 to 2 months time though

OK guys here it is: Taken from an iphone 10 in natural day light with no enhancements (except magnification)
1. It took 20 days to get from AMF to me - I was worried that it was lost, but as I've said before everything in this game is PATIENCE.
2. To me it looks GREAT - BUT I'm no expert! I will try to up load more images.
3. It "feels" a little heavier than a SS Daytona rep and, as you know from other forums - I'm trying to add weight by getting a full gold band - but no one on here knows where I can get one? If you know where please let me know.
4. I have a gen ALL GOLD Breitling Navitimer (including band) and it feels a LOT less in weight than this the Breitling. I don't have scales.
4. AMF have been GREAT all the way through BUT don't hassle them! I ordered this around Christmas and it has taken till today 7th April to get it.
5. Am I happy with it for $A5,000? you bet! BUT if these are going for around $A1,000,000 on Chrono 24 THEN I'M VERY HAPPY I HAVE THIS ONE.
6. Is it different from gen? From my eyes "no" but all I've seen are photos of gen. I'M SURE you guys will be able to tell me how good this rep is?

These are truly beautiful pieces and I would love to have one. Getting a full gold bracelet would be great not only for weight but also the brushing seems kind of coarse on these. I don't understand why it would be but I noticed it straight away on the other one too.

Thank You. It is very classy!! I hope to keep on working on it to get a heavier band/bracelet for it but so far, no luck. AMF are geniuses so maybe they can bail me out? I've written to them and see what happens.

Maybe I was too harsh on the bracelet brushing before. I just saw this gen listed on Cagau. Could be something about RG that makes it look that way.
In any event, your piece is really spectacular. I know it would get a bunch of wrist time if I had one! Congrats.

Has anyone gotten this AMF Daytona Meteorite rep yet? Any other pictures anywhere other than the ones from the OP? I haven't been able to find any on the forum.
Mate, I haven't got one BUT I can tell you, in my opinion, AMF are top class! BUT because they usually make them up from scratch there is a loooong wait but worth it! And isn't that part of this hobby?
It looks like it's a beautiful rep. But man... I got burned on an AP super rep that was supposed to be amazing a years ago and ever since then, I have a hard time trusting the consistency and the output of reps that have a long wait. I was one of the early adopters of an AP "super rep" and thought because I was at the front of the line I'd be safe but NOPE. That didn't turn out so well for me, lol. That said, I'm open to paying for a rep that has a high price and long wait but I think I'ma wait until I start seeing some deliveries in hand of this watch to see what the members think of it.
Yes, I know what you mean BUT they don't seem to hold stock - from my understanding this was built from scratch and they had to get the parts, so I waited. You can see on here (somewhere? Look up Rolex Rainbow thread) and you will see completely un doctored photos I did in natural day light.
Mate, Count on 3 months wait - it killed me waiting too but that's part of this "game". Please post pictures when you get it.
