Hum I think your right but thats the appeal to me. Many classic designs that stand the test of time aren't complex. The simple unique nature of some products is the appeal. Rolex Subs for example. Boring or Appealing? Owning something that has stood the tests of time with little change is a massive appeal to me. I'm not into Rolex with foo foo dials at all. I'm into to Rolex that is so classic that if a watch is 30 years old or 3 days old the owners would say "nice watch" Panerai is like that to me. Certain car brands I drive nothing but Mercedes Benz. I love designs that were sexy in 1968 and in 2012 still are. You can put whatever years you want in that and the same thing. Some brands, some products, sometimes at least for me the appeal is either it being unique, simple or sexy no matter what year it is, where you are, who you are, what occasion it is..... just classic designs that are a statement in itself.

I actually got QC photos this morning. Angus said the center pin and hands were really dirty, so he was going to get another watch to send to me. It will delay the process just a bit, but it's better to have the right watch than the first watch. That said, everything else visually about the watch was AMAZING.

No one wants a dirty watch. The delay must be so annoying but, as said, it's better to play the waiting game and get the watch you desire dirt free and trouble free.
