This is one of the reasons I like it here so much!

To see the hard work and dedication of folks like you who can just dig right in and do this delicate and intricate work.

To me this is impressive and Thank you for sharing!

Oh I forgot to say, it's very easy to regulate the p.3000 clone.

Already added (end of the first post) the way to regulate this movement.

Chris, I have added the post of the regulation system to the first post, to get together and better organized all info

I hope you don't mind it

If you like we can return to the initial position

Awesome skills and tutorial, Chris!!
Thanks for sharing!!

I'm stuck with reassembling the gears since month and threw the movement in my parts drawer.
I'll start a new try after seeing you successfully reassembling the movement.

Canada, but in Hungary... for now
Aargh this brings back memories of frustration! I tried this and can testify that setting that wheel bridge back in place is a total PITA!!!!! After a few hours, I ended up breaking the pinion and selling the rest for parts. So, so frustrating!
So kudos to you, mate, for having the skills to complete this project. And a big thanks for the tutorial :)

wow...this is the best post I have read recently.
And no doubt the Chinese nailed it. It is a legit movement by all means.

That was exactly the question in my mind for 4h when I try to assemble the bridge "how to hell the Chinese can do that everyday?"

Big respect to the Chinese watchmakers in that factory.

Thank you for sharing this with us.
Can you tell me what app you are using for calibrating the clockwork?
Is it for iPad?
I looked for it for a iPad and the only app I found was very expansive.

hahah yes this brings back memories for me as well!
setting the wheel train bridge was a nightmare, way too much play on those gears. I'm pretty sure I spent a few hours just on that bridge as well. never going near that again.
think the factories must have some tool (plastic?) which holds the gears in place while the assemble the bridge. Otherwise the production rate of the movement will be so incredibly low.

Awesome post chris3007. Nice to see that the movement itself is well executed besides the horrible assembling.
