According to steve:
Also the stem is made from “shitty chinese metal” and could be a problem to replace if it goes.

I sadly can confirm as my stem got broken out of a sudden on the weekend when setting time/winding :( - Waiting now for a spare part from my TD.

There is a small release near the stem. Gently press and pull the stem.

I've looked over the pics of the disassembled 324 in this thread as well as taken my own 324's mainspring bridge off to inspect up close; I may be mistaken, but I am not seeing a ratchet/click/clutch lever to hold the mainspring tension. My 324 exhibits behavior that leads me to believe that a click or clutch lever is not present in my watch; with the crown in the winding position and with a fairly full wind, the crown will slowly rotate CCW on it's own. And if I pull the crown to the date or time setting position, the entire mainspring loses tension (you can hear a very audible 'zzzzzziiiiippppp' when this happens). If someone is familiar with the 324 and could please point out the lever necessary to prevent the mainspring from losing tension, I'd be forever grateful :D

Thanks kindly!

Guess I should provide an update here.

My movement needed some tension in the autowind train. A small adjustment of the spring was enough to provide the tension necessary and all works fine now.

I'm not really a movement guy, but this issue gave me enough experience with tearing the movement side of this caliber down to know and understand that it's a well built and durable movement, and also fairly simple to work on.
