Fugetabouit.....enjoy what you have and get some!!!! These guys are real and enjoy their Reps and Gens....there's no offense taken bout your thead. As an old dog, I've had the glam an glitter now I enjoy the finer things in life.
Give me a nice Rep, it makes my day when some thug pulls a gun on me and takes the Rep, I gladly give it up and come home and thank my luck for not having been offed. Be careful out there, there're some not nice folk out there an they look like you an me...

Welcome to the forum.
This rep vs gen debate discussion has been going on for years. It will continue for years.

I look at things this way:
I ride a Kawasaki ZRX. It is a semi rep of the bike that took Eddie Lawson to the world championship in 1982. Even though it is made by Kawasaki and vastly superior to its daddy, it is still a rep.

There is only one original of anything. Everything else is a replica of that one original. Again, just my opinion.

These are just watches. To some people, it is important that the name on the dial is the same as a famous manufacturer. To others, it is important that the company that actually built the watch is the same as the name on the dial. Personally, I could not care less.

Do what you want and what makes sense to you. In doing so, please respect the opinions and choices of others. I derive great comfort from not taking myself too seriously and affording the same kindness to the folks on the watch boards.

Bill.
