Hi,

Just to let you know the watch has arrived. I have a movement question as I'm not sure about something, what section should I ask this question in?

Maybe you can try Flame Free Zone.

You can also email us if you have any questions
I have sent the question to the QC email address asking about the small dial at the 6 position, it doesn't stop or centre and only keeps in step with the main hour hand.

We need to know what watch is. Perhaps a Speedmaster? Because if it is so, the subdial at six can be frozen.

Here is what I have found :

I know it is possible to freeze the subdial at six but I don't remember where I have read how to do it. Anyway hope you know that the Speedmaster is probably one of the worst rep to buy. Due to the movement, the spacing of subdials is wrong and, as you have seen, the subdial at six can't stop.

I have found this thread on another forum:

For me it's too difficult, maybe you know someone who can help you. Take care right? Try this only if you believe you can't accept it. Otherwise use the watch as it is. For now a good rep of the Speedmaster doesn't exist. There's only a cheap quartz replica that has the right spacing of subdials.

This is how it 's made by factory, unfortunately. The 6 o'clock hand moves along with the hour hand

Very disappointing, from the photos on the website it looks like all the Daytona's are the same. From now on I will only consider 3 hand watches.
Perhaps this info. should be on the PT website??

No offense but you should have done your research. You've been here since 2018. That thread linked to you here discusses everything:

Furthermore, a cursory research of the movement used would have also shown you this. The ST19/Venus 75 has a "24H subdial" at 6'o clock. On some models like vintage Daytonas, it is frozen. On some models like this, it is not.

In the photos on PT website, you can see this subdial moving as well without the chrono moving, which would have also been an indicator.

The forum is a treasure trove of information. We as the consumer has the power of choice. It is up to us to do research, look at flaws (there are always flaw on a replica), and evaluate if we can live with it. The TD simply sources the watch.

You're right, you should get as much information as possible beforehand. But newbies in particular (which happened to me too) don't know anything about potential problems because they can't search for them without knowing what they want to find. So the suggestion to the TD that he might mention that is absolutely fine. I am always very happy when customers give me suggestions for improvement for the future. Everyone can decide for themselves whether this is implemented.

That's a fair comment, but it's safe to say that I wouldn't recommend buying a watch that has this issue, others are free to make their own decisions

It's not an issue. It's the buyer's responsibility to do their due diligence and educate themselves on what you are buying. You should have known this. An issue is when a watch arrives not functioning properly. You've been here since 2018. Start acting like it.

Thanks for your contribution, I have used this experience to "educate" myself and my conclusion and recommendations are to steer well clear replica chronograph watches in the future.
You may feel differently and that's something you are free to do.
