Hello, I've now set up a yahoo email and have sent a message. I'm still waiting on an answer to my question about lead times? We are now in to week 4 of the order process with no sign of any QC photos.
We did answered your email. Please allow us some time to reply to every email. We usually respond within 24 hours, thank you
This is getting silly now, all the new account setting for yahoo settings/email account have disappeared and I can no longer access yahoo.
Why is this so difficult and can someone tell me why PT cannot use Outlook?
Where do I go from here, it's getting very frustrating and I've no other way to receive my QC photos.
It is not us who can't use outlook. We are just saying sometimes emails to us or emails to you through outlook may got blocked. That's why we suggested you to use another email address in case you have problems hearing from us.

Sounds a bit strange to me and the problems seem to be at the PT end. Either way I now have a new yahoo account and I've been promised QC pictures this week and that will take us in to week five of the process. I will give an update at the end of the week.

dude, i know you dont know what you dont know. but you are wholesale misuse of the term 'outlook' is in itself enough to throw this comm into useless territory. Outlook is an email program capable of using hotmail (my guess at what you have) and yahoo, and nearly any other free or domain-owned emails. Your email address is hidden, so I can't confirm. IF IM CORRECT that you are using hotmail, then just try logging into their website directly and sending email. That'll get you past your company's outlook-based screens. Might be just enough to diffuse this mess.
I've now been told by PT that the watch is now delayed as the maker is closing down for Chinese NY. It's very frustrating to get this news as I placed my back order in December.
Mate, you’ve been a member here since 2018. The CNY shut downs are nothing new.

I'm not convinced that an issue over which email address can be used to receive QC pictures has any relevance on the lead time between PT and the maker of the watch, is that fair?
Also, I am aware that things close down for a well earned rest for CNY, but I did place my order in December and was perhaps expecting to have the watch in my possession well before CNY. It's worth remembering that CNY does not start until 10th of February which is still 2 weeks away, is that fair comment??

Offically you're correct, but unoffically in Lunar New Year, people usually takes the preceding weeks off or weeks after off as well. It's common. Do you only take the 24th and 25th off only for Christmas? Or do you usually take extra days before and after off as well? From what I heard, for example, VSF took in final orders 2 weeks ago - well before the deadline for CNY.
PT also can't control when a factory sends a watch... it sucks to wait but c'est la vie.
Anyways my personal experience means I don't place orders from December to March due to Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Years consecutively hampering orders.
Anyways if you're that displeased just request a refund, eat the $30 refund loss and try with another TD. Not that it'll change anything imho.

Yes, exactly. Some factories have already started their holidays. some will be later but not after 4th. Actually the last shipping day is around 2nd-4th too for shipping company here.
Just another comment on email accounts. Regardless of the issues regarding access by TDs I have started using Proton Mail. You can get just one free email address with an account but the bonus is that messages are encrypted. If you want more addresses there is a monthly subscription. I haven’t used them with a TD as yet but I’ve used it when transmitting sensitive data.
