If you liked the Moonswatch, how about the Breitling Endurance cheapie?

Cheap reps are a guilty sin of mine. I can't resist seeing exactly how these things are made and how good or bad they are. I had a $5 gate coupon and these just popped up on my feed there. I asked for a real pic and he sent this.

They were $33 and with the coupon $28 so I thought it would be interesting . I got the yellow one and it arrived a couple days ago.

Actually looks decent on the wrist. One of the hands was a bit off so I took it apart to see what it was. Its a PE50 chrono, same as the SwatchOmegas. The case is some sort of lightweight metal or plastic and the bezel is plastic. Its lightweight but so is the gen. Its the right size, unlike those big metal ones I've seen on the gate. Strap is plasticky but not awful. Case back is press on, crown doesn't screw down. Crystal was dirty but a lot of the cheapies are. Bezel is a bit loose so a wind of floss to tighten it. Fun to play with.

Would be kind of neat for a stocking stuffer.

Gen and link.

Very cool Rich, thanks for sharing. It's really amazing how much detail you can get for so little cost.

28 bucks and the factory still making profit. I sometimes wonder what is the COGS to make the gen. 100 bucks? And sell it for 3500...
There's a lot more overhead in making a gen. Materials are better and don't forget labor. You can also pick one of these up for around $1800

I hope you dont mind me kond of jacking your post with these pics - i received this a week ago from Dhgate, £26 without coupon. It fits really nice, strap is somewhat between the strap of my genuine 70.3 and the AAA normal colour endurance pro's, its obviously not AAA quality in many areas but its not like the AAA endurance some sell which are chunky, too big and heavy. I also bought an orange endurance from Dhgate and that was flimsy and plastic like for the same price i paid for this - replica of the 70.3 iron man. I am really chuffed with it for the money its well worth going for - i cant praise it enough.
Its already held up far better than then my gen watch which lasted for approximately 8 hours of leisure use (day off for a few hours and then to the breitling boutique to ask some questions) before showing how poorly built they are and got me questioning why i paid nearly 3k for a cr@p quartz watch from a company skimping on quality.

So far - the gen has come back from breitling - absolutely 💩service and watch. The aliexpress cheapie has way out lasted it. I have worn it to work for 6 days where it has been hit hard against a brick wall, knocked many times on trolley beds and equipment and been soaked by an overzealous tap. No damage and is keeping accurate time. best 20 odd quid ive spent.

That is ridiculously close for 1% of the price.

I have a couple of these. Ok for the money. Note there are two factories. V1 has the gen-like fraction of a second markings at the 2 o'clock subdial (although the movement cannot display that function), while V2 has the 24 hour counter at 2 o'clock, which is what the movement actually displays. The former is slightly better quality overall, but the latter has some advantages and comes in more color schemes.

The straps on both are really bad hard plastic. I replaced them with fkm to make a decent beater for under $40.

One odd thing with my V2 is the crystal. It is VERY hard to see through it. Too reflective. It's so bad I thought there was a plastic sticker over it! Not sure if all V2s have this awful crystal.
