In a Causal Loop
UPDATE**

Well it took 30 days and lots of time on hold with Paypal but the money was returned to me.

Just thought I'd update the thread to close out the experience

Thanks for all the well wishes

Good news! Glad to hear it worked out for you.

Great news that you got your money back. Always nice to see so much support from this forum also.

I do wonder about the scammer and what happens to him now. Does he just carry on without any fall out from TZ and PP?! Unfair.

Glad you got your money back...

I had someone sell me a rep Planet Ocean and pass it off as gen. I found out when I got it by checking the serial number on Omeganet with a trusted watchmaker.

It took almosat 3 months to get my money back and I had to pay to send the fake watch back to the seller !
The seller disputed it on paypal saying I switched the watch with a rep and was trying to scam him!

Fortunately got my money back too and learned about RWI and repgeek and started researching more about reps before buying online...

And the best thing is you got a free propane tank and a tshirt for your troubles! Win win I think.

Very happy to hear that mate, a couple of things.

Did you report him to TZ and did they do anything?

Did you report him to the feds? He has committed mail fraud as well as putting an aircraft in danger by shipping a propane tank which is also a rather hefty offense. This guy needs to feel the results of his actions, simply getting your funds back is not enough. He needs to be taken out so as not to do it again.

The postal service didn't care at all, law enforcement didn't care at all. And I had to ship back the empty propane tank and t shirt. So I asked several times if it was ok to send this and everytime they said sure no problem. I thought that was a no no too, if it is nobody seams to care

Law enforcement had better care!
tell 'em you wish to file an official complaint of postal fraud, if they won't do anything call your local representative.
