Hello,

@puretime is apparently scamming me: I paid for a watch in novembre, they never sent me anything, don't refund me, and now they are ignoring all my mails since the past 3 weeks.

So I'm creating this post to prevent other potential buyers from being scammed by @puretime .
Here is a summary of the potentiel scam I am experiencing:

  1. I paid for a version of the Royal-oak-41mm-15500. I then received an email saying that they would send me pictures of the watch in 2-3 weeks to first verify that everything is OK before sending it to me.
  2. I finally received these pictures 1 and a half month later. And the pictures showed a watch that had obvious defects. (These defects did not appeared on the product page of the watch). I asked them to change it but they advised me to pay a little more to get another version of this model, produced by another manufacturer. So I sent them extra USD for this second version.
  3. 3 weeks later, I received again pictures of the second watch, which had exactly the same visible problem. I asked them again to send me a watch that looked like the one on their product page, but they suggested me to get refund instead.
  4. So I sent them my paypal address to get my money back, but I haven't received any refund to this day. I have since sent them numerous reminders by email and they have not answered me for 3 weeks. I tried every emails adresses of them ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]), but they do not answer anymore and still have my money in hostage.

To all the readers: I can make screenshots of the watch defects and of all the emails sent to @puretime in a second post. Tell me if this would help you to avoid beeing scammed and I will do it. Also, don't hesitate if you have any question, I will answer it. My goal now is to prevent other possible victims and to keep putting pressure on @puretime.

Besides, I intend to post this warning message on other watches forums to save as many buyers as possible from a possible scam here.

@puretime : if you finally get back to my many emails, I will fairly update this post by your further actions. So everybody can be informed of your actions.
Order ID of the first version : 260899. Oder ID of the second version : 263408

Hello KushBandit, here is the link I used : https://puretimewatch.io/

Best regards
Fair enough, just wanted to make sure you didn't use a fraudulent copy-cat website. The lack of communication over the past few weeks need to be excused because of Chinese New Year, as everything shuts down for the holiday.

Can you post a photo of the defect? Defects and flaws are different. Since these are replicas, they are never exact copies of the genuine watch, regardless if they say 1:1, Super Clone, etc. Each factory has their own flaws(font spacing, wrong color shade, etc), but shouldn't have any defects(scratches, obvious misalignment).

Hopefully your issue gets fixed soon.

Yikes.

Just as a disclaimer: RWI will not render any assistance to you in this case since your order was before your join date.
What was the orininal reasoning behind this rule. I know it's there, but there has to be an objective reason: is it because we don't want the fourm to become a complaint haven, or is it to prevent unvetted people from claiming against a td?

Hello,

First of all, thank your all for your messages.

To respond to Treyhlb: yes, I'm sure it was the correct website I used (https://puretimewatch.io/). Thank your for you double vigilance.

I doubt @puretime can say it's because of the Chinese New Year since they start to ghost me days before it. But we'll see if they finally respond and give my money back. I'll keep you posted.
I have now sent them almost 10 emails for the past few weeks on every of their email adresses reminding them how much money they own me and how they can refund me. With 0 answer from them until now. Feel free to ask me screenshot of these emails if it can help someone not to be scam as I currently am.

Regarding the defaults :
They are concerning the hexagonal flat screw on the front panel. They (and their slot) are not correctly aligned with the circle curvature.
This results in an asymmetrical watch. This can be spotted quite easily because it is on the front face exposed to everybody. I have shown the pictures to a friend of mine working in luxury watches world and it took him 5 secondes to spot this and tell me the watch was a fake one.
On the pictures of the Puretime product page of the two versions, this defect does not exist.

Here are the product page picture compared to the quality picture of the first version I was hoping to receive :

The orange arrow represent the slot of the hexagonal flat screws.
I did my best to explain it clearly on the pictures above, but ask me anything if this is still unclear.

Anyway, my problem now is no more theses defects, but that @puretime did not send me the watch, own me money, don't refund me, and no longer respond to my numerous emails.

PS :
1st version ordered : Royal Oak 41mm 15400 SS JF 1:1 Best Edition Blue Textured Dial on SS Bracelet A3120 V5
2d version ordered as a replacement : Royal Oak 41mm 15400 SS ZF 1:1 Best Edition Blue Textured Dial on SS Bracelet SA3120 V2 Super Clone

That‘s crazy! The one on the right looks like a cheap chinese copy and nothing like a Swiss Made high quality timepiece. How is that possible???

Sorry, I made a mistake on the second screen of my previous message : it was still the quality picture of the first version.
Since I did not see how to edit my previous post, here is the correction regarding the second version :

I wanted to get started first and get really upset from so much idiocy in one post. I'll summarize it in keywords to save me time. But imagine a flowery formulation.

1. PureTime is a Trusted Dealer here - Not without reason
2. CNY and lots of work before Christmas
3. Read the mechanics of the rep industry in his (Puretimes) subforum, you will understand waiting times better
4. Waiting times were up to half a year and there were no QC pictures until a few years ago (thanks, among other things, to this forum here) - time to be thankful maybe;)
5. You only signed up here when they had problems (and will probably never set foot in here again after solving that one) and will hardly get any help from official sources, I suspect
6. Buy a GEN if it bothers screw alignment, how ungodly can one be to expect ALIGNED SCREWS for so little money compared to a luxury Swiss watch.
7. I think you arent a profit for this forum, my opinion.

That are all reasons why you shouldnt get help here, sorry mate.

Please do not take this as a personal attack, but please question your behavior.

Hello @derjenigewelcher,

Every opinions can talk, especially if they are not personnal attacks. So i deeply accept your comment even if it made me sad.

I agree with you saying it could be because of CNY and Christmas holidays. This is why i phrase my post as a potential scam and not a sure one. I did not mentionne also that I emailed Puretime in parralele saying that, as i warned them before, i have just created a post about the issue, that I will update with any news and treatment Puertime will provide. I joined them the link towards this current post so they could find it easily and respond as they pleased. And since I ordered the watch in begining of november (31 of October to be precise after checking my emails), I have always been kind saying to Puretime i could wait longer if needed for them to have a decent copy.

Please understand that i just wanted a copy with no major visible defects. If the quality pictures looked almost the same than the puretime product page pictures, it would have been perfect. But it's not as shown above.
Pleas also consider that I'm worried that i have lost 535 USD for nothing since I have no news for many weeks now despite many emails. Thus, this conducted me to create this post to inform other potentiel buyers on the subject, and keep them posted about its resolution. I truly think it could profit to some. I have nothing against Puretime, and i ordered to them because I was thinking, like you, it would be safe which i still hope it is.

If I try to refocus the discussion : delays to receive quality pictures were longer than expected (but not an issue for me at all, especially as you said: it was the end of the year so they were for sure busy and it's understandable), one watch with major defects, I paid extra USD for another one as suggested by Puretime, the second had the same kind of defects. No news since weeks now about any refund.
If we can keep focused the discussion about the watches and PureTime potentiel respond it would be lovely. Since anything else about my person does not seem interesting enough fo others here i think.

@g00n3r : good idea, I thought so too at first. I putted only one pic here to show you the defects, but it also appears on every other quality pictures. So it's not about the watch tilted towards the left unfortunately.

I'll read other messages later or tomorrow (try to spend some time with my family now). So I apologize in advance for the delay in my next reply.
Best regards,
