anyone got the 16610 sub with the SA3135?

I had one from puretime only had it a day as when i unwrapped it i could hear the rotor was off inside the case rattling so had to send it straight back for repair ,but overall impressions in the few hours in my care ( I have a gen to compare it to ) the pearl was not centered properly, also had bezel play , i didnt have any sweet spot issues but when manually winding it doesnt feel anything like the quality of the gen, but it could definately pass any wrist inspection and probably most off the wrist inspections, all in all a very good rep but still a rep i do have a noob 111m superlume also, and if you fitted a gen panerai strap i think is virtually indestinguishable from a gen with the naked eye

I've never had a problem with Sean, everything I've ever got from him was exactly as stated. Puretime has trouble with honesty thats for sure and I wouldn't buy a thing from them.

Nothing..i guess with some of the luckier members here and over at rg and rwg, we have no issues with the movements (so far)...

As mentioned, there cld be different versions of the movements and it seems that the earliest ones are holdin up so far..i bought mine when it just came out so luck of the draw i guess..

You win some, you lose some..deal with it..

Since your stem seems to be the only one that hasn't broken yet, why don't you have it analyzed for us so we can find a replacement! That would be a nice thing for the rest of the community, don't you think?

Arrogant?? Nah..it's the nature of the rep hobby..this YM is just an example..many other examples of other reps dying or missing parts or not like the original v1..

I had my fair share of reps dying..best thing is to service ur movements upon gettin it from the TDs..and with a new 'movement' like the 3135, i took a risk and so far so good for me..

As wat the OP mentioned, there are other members who have smooth movements..

And this is a thread celebrating this big step forward.. :)

No offense meant or intended to anyone..

 Oh for crying out loud . . .
100s of these have been sold to forum members but you don't hear from the happy campers, you never do.

Yes, there is a problem and it's a factory problem not an Angus problem, Angus doesn't make these things ya know. I am currently working with Angus and the factory to try to find an answer. In the interim Angus is doing his damnedest to secure a supply of stems for those who have had breakages, name calling hardly helps the situation or makes Angus (or the factory, they read this ya know) any more eager to be of any assistance and simply makes my job harder.

Angus and I are doing all we can do to rectify the situation. Give him (and me) the chance to do so. Please.

I apologize, my comment was out of line. I have an SA3135 sub on order and all this bad press is freaking me out. Until I have it in hand and get some wrist time on it I'll probably still be freaked out but less then I am now! I have high hopes for this movement for a franken project I've had in the works for awhile so I'm hoping the reliability is up to snuff.

My personal experience is the movement has some issues (already discussed in other threads), but was keeping good time. Let us know if you would please on what you think of it when it arrives and you have had time to evaluate.

Sorry guys for the SA3135 stem problems, I will talk to the maker to see if he can change the stem to thicker ones in the future or he can use some harder steel for making the stems. I already have talked to him about the stem problems and he agreed to supply me stems for the broken ones.

He didnt make the movement for modification or any franken projects so he didnt expect this problem to happen. But the movement is still decent for his first try I guess most of you will agree right? Even the clone 2824/2836 movement firstly came out not as good as this SA3135 and we had a lot more issues with the A7750 movements while it came out about 8-10 years ago.

I have personally tried a few and the movement is quite accurate which keeps good time and the maker tested it for many months before finally releasing the movement. I can say you will have less problems with this movement than any other Asian movements. The stem is a design problem which the maker didnt expect the stem to break with normal use of the watch. I will talk to him about the possibilities of accepting genuine stems in the future.

BTW I want to say sorry to people who got wrong information from me, I was not trying to lie or say good things to make you to buy anything, I am an 100% honest person, if there are some wrong description on my site and it could be my "copy and paste" problems or I had the wrong information from the maker/supplier. I will never lie to my customers.
I think I didnt say the movement would take gen stem but if I did, I am sorry and I take back the words, when someone asks me a questions and I will ask the maker if I am not 100% sure about it.

Again I am sorry for all the problems caused by this movement and please email me or my staffs if you need a stem, thank you.
