but the clean v4 is sold with the whole bezel group (therefore also with ss bezel)?
I'm trying to figure out if the clean ring and the one used by vsf are the same or not. someone wrote that the clean v4 feels softer like the gen ..

My Is a S19 but i think it has a clean v4 bezel at this point. the numbers on the bezel are quite clear..

This is a video from November. Left is Clean and Right is VSF. I think clean at some point did go back to their old ways of reusing older inferior inserts because I owned a V2S that had a very faded looking insert that I remember very clearly and its almost the same as this one on the left. You can see clearly the VSF is juicier and more green. Whether they are using the correct V4 again I'm not sure but it has put me off buying a Clean now purely because of inconsistencies especially with the green insert being so nice on the V4 or whatever is on the VSF. I would hate to order a clean only to find the older insert.

That Clean definitely looks like an older version insert.

The promo (TrustyTime maybe?) from the VS 116610LV shows it to have V3-1-10 insert on the S19 versions so it’s my presumption that S29 versions have V4 insert.

Whether VS actually did anything different to the insert (ie- adding their own fill to the numbers or beveling the edges or adding their own pearl/pip) is beyond me.

It was from Youko. But whatever it is I think I'll just stick to the VSF now. I just hope this new/last batch of VSF's do use the same one. I just hope I can tell under different lighting on QC.

thank you very much for the great comparison. my hulk vsf is a nos that arrived a few days ago. it is a S19, a typical pearl of vsf (which I personally love) and numbers almost full and white .. me too at this point, I'll just keep this bezel.
at this point I am undecided whether to install the zf dial on the vsf or do without it and keep the vsf stock directly
