hehe....

there are a lot more mods.... I am wearing a 063 today (eta 2893-2 movement, so no canon pin issues) with ziggy lume, watchman cyclops, lello datewheel, gen auto crown, gen crown guard, etc... lots of mods...

For the 111/177/112/176 group..... you still have the AR on it, the crown guard itself(DSN's CG is awful IMHO), crown lever mod, dial mod (re-painting the A's), crown swap, washing the dial to get the right color, dial change... gen screws and tubes...and the list goes on...

Take this 001B
IMG_2900.jpg

It has the canon pin fixed, DSN hands, Ziggy lume, crown lever mod, Angus Ultimate CG, Palp 2.0 crown, correct caseback, rare 001B painted dial, upgraded screws... sapphire switched to a DSN sapphire... sapphire has had the AR removed completely

If all those mods are performed for a 111, wouldn't the cost be close to the gen price?

I guess a panny modder can easily get out of hand... just nuts man. just nuts. j/k.

One time I bought a Slippery Susan and thought I was getting a burger. Boy did I learn my lesson. Always ask questions first before you order or you could get something unexpected.

Above is an example of the recessed CP and below is flush or Raised from recessed CP. CP= Cannon Pin

Like I said before, just because it appears to be a recessed canon pin doesn't mean that it is... sometimes they just put the hands on there that the tubes that are too long... take off the hour hand, get some sand paper, and no more canon pin problem!

The movement below appears to have a recessed canon pin, but it doesn't.... the tube on the hour hand is too long... which makes it stand up!

but from looking at this photo, it seems to me that "technically speaking" it needs a canon pin fix since it "is" sitting bleow the arm.

also, why not just push the minute arm down instead of sanding?

That's my whole point... appearances can be deceiving... you gotta know what movement you're working with and see it from a side angle....

ummm.... pushing the minute hand wouldn't help as it's not the problem... the tube on the hour hand is...
