This is where this Forum is invaluable. A post from 2018 is still informing new members of important details. I have a couple of watches inbound now and the info from this post helped me make sense of my QC readings. Thanks for posting this John. Super helpful.
Exactly my case when i joined early August. Absolutely helpful thread, thanks to the OP.

Guys, there is one thing that I forgot to mention in my older posts here, and I see no mention of it in the thread ;)

Now, the more knowledgeable guys can feel free to correct me, but IMHO :-

The TG results in QC pics almost always never run a full screen, let alone for 5 to 10 minutes, due to the time constraints if a TD is QC'ing a lot of watches in the day.
This means (IMHO) all your QC Pictures prove is that the watch is running at the time it leaves the TD's ;)

Why do I say this ???? ....

Well, in my experience using a Weishi 1900 on all my mechanical watches reps and gens, I find that I get the most accurate figures after having "run the watch in" for a week or so of running constantly, and then letting the watch sit on the TG for 10 minutes or so, in other words it has run in a bit and then let it settle down on the TG for a while.

HTH, and again, if I'm talking cock perhaps one of the experienced guys could explain the error of my ways / why ;)
