Just for clarification, for those not in the US, the individuals losing coverage are losing it because:
1. They are probably not getting healthcare through their employer and are paying for their own insurance, like a lot of freelance workers or private business owners, and
2. those plans they are paying for do not meet the minimum requirements that the law now requires all plans to provide, such as maternity care (mens plans too) or mental health benefits.
They were paying for coverage on their own, and now must pay for a policy that meets the minimum standard. Those policies, generally speaking, are significantly more expensive than the ones they had.
