Help identify Pam 253 movement

Hi All

I have a panerai 253 that I bought few years ago from a member here.

The movement don't have any markings on it besides a small marking that sais 25 jewels. No panerai markings on the movement at all. Also on the back Case there is no marking about the special watch number as it a special edition ( like 1/ 500 ) ect. The second chronograph hand is very light Blue that can be seen only from a specific angle. The chronograph works perfectly.

Anyone can put some light aboythe movement and the factory is was produced.

You mean hobnail, true. The case back reads OP6640…that’s what’s throwing me off. Disregard.

It's an older / lower grade 253 rep - probably picked up in a market somewhere 15 years ago. The 253 dial is more commonly referred to as a 'waffle' design - the hobnail dials are reversed. Here's an 028 for an example:



Take / post a clear picture where the rotor isn't obscuring the balance wheel...
