The crown does seem a bit different on the reps IMO.

I am not sure if it's the crown or the case--but there seems to be more space between the crown and the end of the crown guard on the reps... either smaller crown or larger crown guard. Can't tell unless you had both a gen and rep side by side. In the pictures, the Silix rep seems to have the best combo of crown and crown guard. The dial looks the same as the PT dial. Silix prices seem to be pretty decent on these as well.

I am actually looking for one of these myself. I saw this one a non-TD's site (I don't see an equivalent on any of our TD sites):

Putting aside the source, any thoughts on the quality of this rep? Who's the resident expert on Cartier watches (if any?)?

Yeah agree with you on the crown and the cg. The gens seem to be more rounded and fill up more of the space.

Trustytime isn't trusted here but he is a top dealer over at repgeek so don't worry about being scammed. Looks good but RG has also been a risk for me. Have heard of lots stories of it wearing off and looking cheap.

I have bought from androsh, but prefer to stick to RWI TD's. androsh's prices are a on the high side too. Our TD's a far more fair in pricing.

I've been searching for the 33mm ladies Ballon, but no lucky finding it from any TD. Does anyone know if it's repped?

There seems to be a "super-rep" http://pure-time.com/product/ballon-bleu-ss-on-brown-leather-strap-eta2892-ultimate-edition/ but it's quite expensive: 1278 USD with croco strap. If the watch is almost like genuine and has a good movement it seems a fair price. But a lot of people here seem to find paying this amount of money silly. Is it?
