Village, of course
That's why I post this here. Without mentioning him in the first place.

Well it did not help much when your description clearly points to a single dealer here, even the first guy knew who it was.

You have a mod assisting now so take his advice and listen to co-ax.

Until the matter is resolve, we hope you do not put up anymore accusations which are untrue.

So how to resolve this matter?
By email and PM as instructed! Since you obviously don't get it, thread locked. It will be unlocked by Sharrkey when the matter is resolved so comments can be made.

First of all, thank you trailboss for unlocking this thread for me to reply. And my apologies to the Mod team for this thread.

I try to answer to anyone on whatsapp within 30 mins time frame if i'm not asleep. (If i was sleeping, than it will be 6 hours later) whatsapp had been a great tool for me to keep connected with friends around the world. I see how you have portrait yourself here on this forum, not harassing not demanding not impatient no wall of text? So why did i block you??

You messaged me in the middle of the night about the courier left your package on the shoe rack. I spent hours trying to console you, and i told you i would talk to my shipping agent first thing the next day. This day unfortunately they were already leaving for their hometown for CNY but i managed to catch him at his office. I told him about what happened, and he said he will refer this complaint to the freight forwarder in singapore after he returned from CNY.

On the 12th of feb, i received your pm. I replied but it didn't go through. I thought i would try again the following day, before i could try sending the pm again you started this thread.

Today is only the second day they have returned to work, and you already expecting an outcome? redcyrus, I don't run the shipping companies neither the delivery courier was employed by me. Please do not link the singapore freight forwarder and the delivery courier to me in anyway. Tracking slip was whatsapped to you prior to shipping. If you didn't like the name of the shipping company you could have told me to change, i'm sure you know there are many shipping companies under an agent available at the watch market no?

Tracking information was updated real time till delivered. I see you were able to list out all the dates of this transaction and surprisingly to me, you missed the delivery courier..?

My last whatsapp message to you was "all i ask is your patience", clearly this is not happening. You insisted i have to refund you right from the beginning, putting all the blame on me. I was trying to help you claim from the freight forwarder for an uninsured shipment. But seems like my effort is not appreciated and still been blamed for the courier's action. Your persistent and demanding messages got me annoyed, even after i have explained to you and promised will immediately update you after i hear from the freight forwarder. The way i see how you had messaged me on whatsapp, left me no choice but to suggest to you by all means if you have to pick up a ticket.

This is a very unique case in all my shipping experiences. I'm shock you actually bring up about the compensation we "talk" about here openly, and used it against me. To repeat what i have said before to you as a "friend", yes they would have compensated me for my missing shipment if they don't find it but they have all the rights NOT to compensate since no insurance was purchased. I was grateful they were willingly to take responsibility of uninsured missing shipment, but now you used it against me and you insisted you should be compensated as well?

I have replied my side of the story here, thank you again boss for unlocking this thread for me and Sharrkey been very understanding to the entire situation. Thank you Sirs!

Seems to me TWT has a reasonable response here and buyer should Not be blaming TWT because the delivery guy decided to just leave the package at the door.

Now we have all heard of many dealers replacing watches when they go missing by Customs but this isn't the same thing and while I can relate to the buyer and even sympathize with him its Not the dealers fault if the postal guy leaves a package at the door instead of getting the required signature.

If I bought something say from Amazon or anywhere and the package is supposed to be signed for at delivery but the mailman, UPS, or whatever the F decides upon himself to just dump it on my porch without getting the signature then its on the delivery service for F'ing up and I'd be blaming them and I'd be pissed at them, but in no way is this the sellers fault.

Buyer, you should be happy the dealer is even willing to help you.

In some countries, postal or delivery service may be riskier than others. Hell even conus there are certain zip codes in which it is high risk to leave a package just like in this situation. I don't want to choose sides but if you live in a country that has a high risk in terms of safe delivery or where a package left outside is considered gone because it's worse than the wild west, well...

Choose a TD that can offer customs/delivery insurance so that if this happens the TD can resend the watch. I don't know which TDs offer this service but I've heard some do.

This business unfortunately carries a business model that cannot be put in the same caliber as amazon. You can't just call a TD as you would call amazon and because they are gigantic and are customer service, have them take the loss and send you a replacement.

Of course there is always two sides of the story, OP claims there is screenshots of the tone of the conversation. I think it is not right to post them as the matter is still being resolved, but OP share them with Sharkey and the staff if you haven't already.

Best of luck to all parties involved.

rev, what your saying makes sense and the reason I mentioned Amazon was to give the buyer an example that it wouldn't matter if it was Amazon or anyone else. If the package requires a signature then it's up to the delivery service to be sure to get the signature to release the package.

Now sure Amazon has a flexible return policy but there's no way they will send you a new product if the delivery service dumped it on your porch when they were supposed to get a signature.

ridiculous claim by the OP.

no TD should be responsible for the actions of a courier service.

You wanted a refund for 1) sending you proper QC photos 2) shipping in a timely manner 3) communicating well until you asked for a ridiculous refund for something that wasn't his fault?!?

Call UPS or FedEx or whomever the heck it was that screwed it up and blame them.

you should fault the courier and call them, not the TD.

what a bozo. I'd block you too for being unreasonable.

From 26-29 Jan we Whatsapp and I asked for updates. He told me to wait and I did patiently. He in fact went into a deranged mode and blasted me when I requested a refund on the 29.

I agree sub, there's no easy way to go about it in this situation. I can see the point of the consumer. If I am told by a seller regardless of type of goods that the shipper has screwed up in the past, then I would honestly also feel a little frustrated. I would think and wonder why the seller is still choosing the same courier if there risk is there. After all, delivery regardless of the umbrella everyone seems to use (buyer assumes all shipping risks) is a key component to any online seller's reputation. That and customer service as well, since the deals are not face to face it is important to win your customer over.

In the end RHP sums it well, this situation is a mess and all parties involved are on the short end of the stick.

Sir! I have pm-ed op and mod on duty the replies from singapore freight forwarder. Singapore freight forwarder replied to us that recipient agreed and instructed the courier to leave the package on his shoe rack. What also puzzled us is WHY is op sitting on it and not checking with the singapore freight forwarder??? We have pm-ed op and mod on duty singapore freight forwarder's office address and telephone numbers. If the op has what he claimed about the text exchange messages with the freight forwarder's courier, than he had solid evidences against the courier! And his employer has to be held responsible to their courier's action and compensate to op for his loss.

Like i said in my pm to him and mod on duty, shipment contains NO drugs NO weapons but a wrist watch. If there is a custom issue, just request shipment to be shipped back to us like what everybody does here.

We chose the same courier because they were responsible, and willingly to compensate us in full if shipment is not recover within 3 months. Which they found the shipment eventually, and delivered it.

I will not reply to this thread no more as we already have a moderator on duty is looking into it.

Plain n simple. As in my reply to u in the recent pm, you have a biz relationship with the courier so why aren't u making good n liaise with them? Y push your job to me?

I can liaise w them but would need your cooperation as you're the shipper.

Last, I've mentioned many times to u and with evidences already shown to you that the courier DID NOT obtain my permission before placing the package on the shoe rack. Which part of that you don't understand or just wish to blindly push the blame on me?

It's do simple, get the evidences from the courier and from my end for all the smses and you're able to see clearly who's lying. DUH.

Forgot to mention. When the package was missing when I came back and I alerted him, I asked him if he wants me to lodge a police report for loss or stolen package. I presume he needs it for his to claim from his shippers. But no reply to that.

I told him if a police report is needed, what does he want me to report what was in the package as there's no way in hell I'm going to report a replica watch. Still, no answer.

After checking his courier on web and with friends in China( I have a company in china) his shipper cuckold express does not link up with singapore's post office or other local courier companies.

My thought coincide with other local members that his own people pick up when it reaches Singapore and deliver himself.

Put it bluntly, his own people left the package outside the residence as no proper courier service people will ever leave a package outside without anyone signing for it!!!!!!!

they have shipping company named cuckold express? I wonder if they have any idea what cuckold means in English.
