Have you heard about the WM9 Daytona??

Hi guys, today I want to show one of my precious, modern daytona came from WM9.

It is no doubt that many members prefer vintage daytona to modern 116520 or 16520 daytona.

But, I really like something looking glossy and fancy. SO, I have been looking for nice modern rep daytona and I ended up in success.

This is the only one proto type wm9 daytona left in the rep world. Of course, I don`t know it is true.

As you can cleary see, this is totally different from other ugly daytona reps.

Correct rehaut depth.

Flat bezel

Good crown and pushers height position

Flat case back

On wrist

Its heart is 7750 still running perfect with just over 48hours resever time.

I`d like to take your opinions.

Yeah that is a interesting piece. And that bezel looks good and flat like gen. And the pusher's are positioned right. I don't know what case set this is. But I want one. !

I don't blame you brother. I would keep that piece.
You don't see a case set like that every day for sure!

What movement? It is my understanding, and I am a Daytona freak, that our rep cases with 7750 engined Daytonas are too thick and have a deep caseback to accomodate the 7750. Just like the Tudor Chronographs that use the 7750 Valjoux.

I would be interested to get a LOT for details Sir..please. Fascinated, curious and spongy.

A guy sold this watch to me said that he got this watch during trip on China. It is true that this watch is running by 7750.

A month ago, the movement was fully servised and I paid $150 for it. All chrono functions are great, no dumy.

How come the sub dials aren't lined up with the center of the dial like a 7750 movement? On a Rolex or an original Valjoux 72x the sub dials are above the center.

On a normal 7750 all the hands line up in a straight line.

WoW, I didnt know that the 7750 all the hands line up in a straight line.

But, I can show you a movement shot in a few days. I dont have a caseback opener now.

I`m not sure what wm9 he did in this watch. However, I paid only $150 for full movement service. If it was real genuine movement, its not possible at such price. It would cost more than $300 in South Korea.

And I didnt paid huge amount of money to buy the watch.

The 21j models of the Daytona are just much better replicas as far as looks go when comparing to gen models. That's why most people would rather have a 21j with frozen second hand than the 7750 model. You sure have a mystery there.

Yes, its true 21j is the best deal. I considered to buy it before, but you know every 21j daytona has wokky& too deep rehaut. Also it has crab saphire glass. It is not at all without the thin case.
