Have I been scammed or am I reading too far into this?

It’s truly a bizarre world when the crack monster that just jacked you sends you a message thanking you for your stuff.

In Canada when anyone gets robbed the person or people that did it MUST say thank you before running away. Most if not all the time they will walk up and politely ask for your money and jewellery and not even show a weapon and obviously thank you after :)..

Would like to thank @eBoy for showing me the Canadian gifs...

I seen a Canadian cop telling citizens to leave the keys to their cars in plain sight for robbers so they would avoid conflicts that came about from robbers taking their keys. I thought maybe they could leave their cash credit cards and valuables in a nice pile under their keys too. I don’t know if the court would even call that a robbery.
Things are a might less civilized in my neck of the woods. Folks aren’t gonna give up their belongings without a problem. Only a fool would think that doing so would help them in any way. Just saying

That episode was so bad, hilarious but bad. I trained as a VFX artist to emigrate to Canada, I did a BA and MA In visual effects. Then I discovered ‘Trudeau’ who is the antithesis of everything I value. So I am still in UK, maintaining robotics, its not a bad life, however, Red Dwarf feels real right now. ‘Smeg, head’

IMPORTANT: I am not trying to ruin Steve’s reputation just want to make sure.

Hi all, had been in talks with who I assume to be Steve for 2 weeks and just yesterday sent $320 for my watch. I had already sent $50 for a deposit QC last week and everything went well. But today got a message that seemed a little fishy. I doubled checked he had received the payment and all I got in the return was “thanks a lot”.

Now I don’t want to call this is a scam straight away and potentially ruin Steve’s reputation but it’s not sitting right with me. I may just be paranoid about being scammed.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have bought several things from Steve. He has been great. You are not being scammed.
