Has anyone heard or received a package from OPTIMUS_PRIME?

Hey. I have been sick like a dog for the past few days and just logged on to see that Dylan is getting his watch. Glad for you.

But what about me? Is he going to refund the monies.

O_P told Dylan that I wrote fake watches in Paypal -That is B***it. I wrote nothing like that. He billed me for Classic DVD'd and I just paid.

I've spoken to zzipy over the phone in the past few days and he has heard nothing!
Its great that it looks like I'm getting resolution but there are 2 other members involved,
one of which I've been communicating with on a regular basis.

I just know that in the end OP will come clean to all. It is unfortunate that anyone should have to go through this BS. Perhaps if OP has someone he can trust here on the board, (any future sales)I might recommend an escrow type service where the watch would be sent to a mod or trusted member before the sale is allowed to be posted. Just a thought. Otherwise I would prefer to not have anyone go through this again!

I don't know why there is kind of attitude that he is OK now and it was all a big mix up. He is a SCAM and CROOK.

1) He Billed Twice for 3717 and once for Slevin
2) After payment he just disappeard. No response to anyone nothing. If there was an issue he could have mailed us and explained to us.
3) He only responded to Dylan after Dylan's resourcefullness
4) He still has not responded to me and Slevin buyer. No nothing.

ZZ I too am not very impressed with his history on sales either. I am only trying to be optomistic for you and the reb. I remember he has done this before and it really sucks rocks. I really do think you'll get your money back eventually and then I suggested (for the future) he should send in the watch to someone before the ad can get posted so this doesnt happen to anyone else. Hell this is the second offense, maybe he should be banned, that's not my call. Bad luck or S H IT happens on his part, tough noodle, none of us should have to put with this Bologna Sausage! Is it a scam? It is what it is, and I can tell you 20.00 is big money for me so I know your frustration.

banning will be the least of his worries based on what members (several) have already gathered on the guy.

We will be evaluating what we need to do with regards to OP... waiting to see him resolve this though..

Well he finally made contact with me. He told me the same thing, that his paypal is frozen because someone mentioned replicas (*cough* bs *cough*) and that he 'needs some time to sort things out'.

I don't know what there is to sort out, we paid for the watches, he either a) ships the watches b) refunds our money. I certainly don't know why we need to wait for him to sort these things out.

I'm 99% sure that he doesn't have any money frozen in paypal, I'm sure he cashed it out as soon as the funds hit his account. Even if the money is frozen, then great, all he needs to do is get paypal to refund us or ship us the watches and our claims against him will be dropped.

To dylan:

I would take a video/pictures of the package you receive and make sure that the watch is in the package. You don't want him providing paypal proof of the package sent and a delivery confirmation on some randon star wars toy and make the battle with paypal that much harder.

The Thursday night that he took payment from Dylan, he was also going to sell the watch to me. He sent me a Paypal invoice/money request. Luckily for me, something else came up and I wasn't able to finish the transaction. So I emailed him late that night and told him I wouldn't be able to get it. He didn't immediately cancel the Paypal invoice requesting I send money.

Just today, he finally cancelled the original Paypal invoice he had sent. The email I got from Paypal said this:

Chung Yeh ([email protected]) cancelled the following Money Request: -----------------------------------Money Request Details----------------------------------- Amount: $350.00 USD Subject:Classic DVDs

If his Paypal account was really frozen, would he really be able to cancel this money request? I thought if you had a frozen account you aren't able to perform any functions such as this, until the account is unfrozen.

Sounds like he needed some cash to pay the taxman on the 15th and this seemed in his mind like a good way to get a grand on no interest loan for a week or 2 advance before needing to refund any money.

It sounds like you will get your money back but you may be waiting for him to get his next paycheck or something like that.

I remembered the other day that OP sold a nice modded 028 on this board for a big amount of $$$$...there is a post about this transaction...it was a lucky guy the one that really received the 028 since it seems from all of this posts that OP scammed and tried to scam members....

I'm late to the game here, as I haven't logged on in a while, but that was me that purchased the 028 from Peter. We had PP issues as well, but I eventually got the watch after we agreed to change payment method. That being said, I intentionally made him aware that I was an attorney, so maybe he decided that he didn't want to mess with scamming me. Who knows? But if you'd have asked me before this thread, I would have no reservations in saying he was a stand-up, trustworthy guy.

Even funnier, the reason I logged in today was actually to send him an e-mail. I pulled the trigger on a gen 250 while in Vegas this past weekend and am planning to resell the 028. I told him when I bought it that I would give him first dibs if I ever resold it. I'm should be getting it back from the EU any day now and it will be completely 100% modded. I added a new crown, real PVD and a gen strap/buckle. Glad I caught this thread. Hope it works out for all involved.

Watch finally received after having to get 3rd party intervention.

Its not what was advertised. He said that it had k2222 double AR treatment...there is
no double AR at all...I'm pretty sure its an earlier version of the 3717...not even sure if its 28.8...could
be the 21.6 version...
