if you like it, send it for full modd, but you still have wrong caseback, bad dial, AR and all the other bad stuff.
Just sell it and buy a v3

That is what i did. Sale the H-Fac and order the V3. Its cheaper than mod a H-Fac.

I still think H factory FC case is better than V3 FC . Not worry about the CB at all.

So if you want to keep the H factory and mod it you could:

-Put a Noob V 3.5 Swiss movement with also Noob v 3.5 dial and cyclops.

- Put real sapphire crystal with double AR from rbj69 ( http://forum.replica-watch.info/vb/showthread.php/weird-discovery-about-161769 ).

With that you will have a killer FC diver, maybe better that the V3 FC IMO...

Word... I could do exactly that but ill ruin like 3 of my watches.

You ruin just 1. You get a great FC diver and you ruin a Noob V3.5.

Then you can decide to :

-Put the parts from FC diver (movement, dial and cyclops) on the V3.5 diver and keep it as a daily use.

- Put the parts together and sell it as it is.

-Keep it for spare parts or replacement for another SS AP Diver (maybe a V4.1..).

-Sell it for parts on the forum. ( You will still get some money for the Noob v3.5 crystal, bezel, caseback, crowns, screws, inserts.... ).

On the other hand you will have one of the better FC diver out there.

I think we all need to wait and see how the v3 rocks up. Could be ultimate. Seems to be

Seagull movement on V3 is good clone. At least reliability is better, which was problem with HFAC.

I guess we will see if v3 case is better or the hfac.

Hopefully someone has a gen forged carbon AP to compare to those two.

Hi guys,

My H-factory diver has a shit movement. Today it sounded funny so I had a look. When I removed the auto-winding bridge all the wheels fell out. I'm using it now as a manual but I suspect it's only a matter of time before this movement dies completely. I need to decide what to do.

1) send it to vac and install a Swiss. Other than the movement this watch is nice. The AR is ok bar the cyclops, the markers are straight, the tachy is well aligned... I'd be very happy with it with a Swiss...

2) sell it as is and buy a V3 from Angus. This gives me a potentially better watch but no guarantee the QC will be as good as my one at the moment. However I like the idea of it being waterproof, and the cyclops and dial are probably better. There's no guarantee I could sell the H-fac though, and will be getting another clone that could be great or could be shit.

3) send it back to andrew and be patient. It's a right crap shoot though, weeks to get there, no idea of the quality of the repair, probably be another shit movement go into it... but it's free.

Any ideas guys? Leaning towards sending it to vac for a new movement.

When you say you like the idea of it being waterproofed, does Angus provide a proper water test to all the V3?

I see. Well vac said he has no problem putting these hands on a 2824, but he transfers over some parts from the H-fac to keep the hands high.

I asked andrew if he would send me a replacement movement to save me shipping the watch back to China. $150. lol. He really is a scummy ******.

It's up on the sales section now, but to be honest I think I will send it to vac, I'm not fully convinced about the V3 case still.

I think I will not buy from him again unless he takes care of my watch repair situation well.

Needless to say, for $150 you can buy a good 2824 clone on Ebay, or pay more than half of a VAC movement swap.

That movement (we do not even know what to call it yet) is like a cancer that needs to be stopped right away from spreading through the rep world. At first I thought I was going crazy looking at it not knowing what it was. Now I know I am not the only one.
