What country are you and and what's the process like to get a handgun? It looks like there's enough of a market to get stippling and new sights....
Hi,
I live in Belgium.
There are a few gunstores around but the gouvernment is making it hard for people to buy a gun.
Many procedures in advance like medical clearing, theoratical - practical training, logbooks with all data to make sure you have all the periodic gunclub visits (but all of them are full since they are not allowed to make new clubs anymore) and the actual ones, they try to close them down to find as many issues as they can with construction permits, environment permits, safety inspections regarding the #members; fire safety regulations, etc. etc
If you don't have 12 visits per year, or 3 per quarter/year they suspend the permit for having ammo in your pocesion. Having the permit back is a whole new examination,... and so on.
No longer allowed to test fire a fellow gunshooters gun if it's has a diferent caliber then you own. Unless you also have a permit for that caliber yourself.
And many many other restrictions and regulations..
We all now there must be regulations and control regarding firearms but all they want is to remove all firearms.
The huge renewed gun-law from 2006 made all this possible. Only, the guns they want off the street or the weapons that are used in crime are not those that the sport- and hobbyshooters have in their hands.
I was cleared before 2006 so for me it s still not big of an issue... And long live the internet for parts and hop ups!
The stippling I did myself (thank you Youtube), the sights are stock adjustable sights, extended slide catch, extended mag release and smoother connector. The flashlight I got of ebay for about 30 euro but can take the beating pretty good.
Cheers!
