It's a great effort from the reppers. Amazing. Sadly I think the source watch from Rolex is no substitute for the Hulk.

Superb effort on the measurements bro. I should have mentioned to put some bracelet tape or other plastic coating on your calipers, arghh. Then just recalibrate them.
The measurements all look amazingly close. Green factory has done a nice job with their debut release. The clasp doesn't look terribly wide in your wristshot but that's a good chunk of metal there, wish Rolex had kept the thinner 116610 clasp and tapered the links more like the 215670's.
Overall of course we gotta have one (or more)! The Bluesy is on my radar. Wonder how some of these Rolex newcomers will do with rep "gold".

Thanks KJ. No worries. I think we’re just not used to slightly wider clasp, but its perfectly proportioned with the wider bracelet and you forget it right away. You make a good analogy with the EXP 42....it also has 21mm SEL and uses the classic narrow clasp. As does the YM 42 I think?
The wider clasp feels natural to me as my favorite Rolex is the SD43 with 22mm SEL and even wider clasp, so for me going back to a narrow clasp feels funny lol. It’s all relative.

Thanks. The A2824 date starts to change at 23:55 and clicks at midnight. Same with my SD43.

Recently I am seeing 2824's take a lot less time for a date change. They really are good workhorse movements with similar crown position and time setting direction to the 3235.
Quickset date direction is opposite gen but small matter.

KJ I’ve been confused on the date change direction on the 3235. I haven’t seen a gen 3235 date change, but in the videos of the VS clone 3235 the date wheel rotates clockwise as does the crown date direction. Is the VS clone wrong?

On a gen 3235, the DW rotates clockwise with a backward crown turn. This is opposite of ETA. And opposite of all rep 3135s in which the action is as you described. So the VS clone and all other rep 3135 movements are wrong from gen 3235 in both time setting and quickset date change.
The new GMF 3285 does set time like ETAs and the gen 3235/85. Backward crown = forward hands movement. And its hour jumping is like the gen - Backward crown = forward hour jumping. Both of these actions are opposite to the gen 3185/6. I haven't seen a true clone GMF 3235 in action yet.
There are now so many variations in gens and reps that I think we can finally just quit worrying about it and take what we get, lol.

Crown direction...
It’s of such little importance. I have never, ever seen anyone change the time on their watch, even when flying which I used to do regularly. If I did ever notice it then I sure as hell never paid any attention to the crown direction. When I change the time on my watch on a flight I don’t care what the fat bird next to me thinks, she’s not looking. She’s too invested in her Facebook or other crap. People need to move on from this nonsense. ‘Instant tell’ lmao. Get a life.
