DPR, that's sucks man, but as others have said, welcome to the joys of home ownership and the shit that comes with it. I'm forever doing little odd jobs around the house. We've now got a leak from a concealed shower mixer unit so that's what I'm gonna be tackling this weekend. Means ripping a whole wall apart as the mixer is in a cavity behind the tiles!!

Happy birthday to mini Jeane!! I love kids birthdays. It's the last of the bunch for us next Thursday. I have a tradition with her that we go out for McDolalds breakfast on her birthday. It's gonna ruin my post Christmas diet [emoji23]

I'm sure you're right mate. I reckon a good 40% of membership don't go or go less than twice a month.
Had a cracking run today. I've got out of the habit of running but I love to do it. 18 months ago I was doing 75k a week. I buggered up my knees though so won't get back to that level. I'm just working back into big distances. It's great to have a running buddy now too. Our Springer comes out with me (and then straight out with my wife just after!!! He did over 15k today). I was 7 mins over my 18 month ago average which is not bad considering all the 'dog stops'. It was -2c this morning though and icy underfoot.
Just had some Chinese sweet and sour chicken with rice and the usual vegies, from a new restaurant here in my town. Great tasting it was and the chicken balls were to my amazement really soft and yummy. Never had chicken in this kind of dish soooo soft. I saved the last few pieces of chicken for dissecting to look inside. Voila !! It was not the slightest even chicken. It was a 'tofu' "gluten" type of imitation chicken. Wow !! But it sure tasted like real chicken !! Got me fooled there. So much fakery in food bits nowadays. So what else is there out there ???? ................ burp....... :sad:

Its a little colder here....
This is in Celsius and seems like it's going to be pretty cold all week. My kids are home tomorrow as thy have the day off for MLK day so I am probably going to work from home tomorrow and take it slow.
