Hahahahaha oh man, that is pretty bad! Glad to hear you could rise to the challenge haha. I had a similar situation when I was out of the country for 2 weeks and the day before I left my wife used my car to get groceries..and forgot about a bag with diary, cheese and yoghurt. The cheese was a little moldy but was at least still closed when I got back but the yoghurt expanded like it was possessed, popped open and continued to grow its own ecosystem in my CAR. You can probably imagine the wonderful smells and overwhelming joy I had when I drove to my first meeting after returning. It was gross as hell but luckily it all happened inside of the grocery bag so cleanup wasn't that bad. My wife's response... " yeah I wondered where that went " just another reason to use grocery delivery service.

In college we made a food run, and apparently left the bag of two stalks of bananas in. About a month later, she asked me what that smell was. I looked under her seat and boom. Liquid banana. I had to remove the seats to clean it. It was terrible..
