Long weekend here as Monday is our National Day(Waitangi Day)

Off to a One day Cricket match between Australia and NZ today. Sun is shining and the beer will be cold. Perfect day to watch cricket with some mates.

For my friends in the USA, there is no known way to explain Cricket to you

You are right Chris. My wife once asked what they use in Cricket. So I showed her how the paddle/bat looks like. Her first response was, " that looks familiar, like the laundry paddles they use in India to slap the dirt off wet clothes by the river bank " !! The only thing I've hearc about Cricket is that is high the highest suicide rate out of any sport in the world. ESPN did a big segment on it years back. Pretty crazy!

I hate that, seems to happen to me a lot. And twice last week I arrived to find the company had only reserved the room and not paid for it. Pisses me off as it takes about two months for my expenses claims to go through.

I'm off today! I just made myself a breakfast burrito. Soon I'll be taking a quick 10 mile bike ride around White Rock Lake. After that I'm going to take the dogs to the park. I hope everyone has a great day!

Good on you buddy, today was a gym day for me. I alternate between gym and running. One day I run 10km (with the dog, gets him good exercise too) and the next I hit the weights at the gym.
