3KF is a great choice for an aquanaut, go for it.

I got a stock 3KF 5167 Aquanaut a little while ago and can confirm the watch looks and feels superb. The rubber strap feels a bit cheap but there are a lot of options out there where you can alternative ones.

I’m quite sure Patek has the best strap.

Sarcasm aside, they are not that hard to buy, especially used. As long as you make sure the cut used strap is still long enough for your wrist.

Haha true. Yea, I agree. I'll see how I like the one it comes with and then decide. One question I have is when placing the order with a TD, is it very common to ask the TD to change it for a different one due to issues? Or is their quality control usually pretty good?

Is there typically much back-and-forth with the TD regarding quality control? I'm curious about how thoroughly they inspect the watches before sending the photos. I’m not trying to be overly critical since these are replicas, but I’d like to know.
