Saw this this morning. I have the GMF and was wondering if this would be an upgrade, and I really don't think it is. In particular I don't like the shade of brown on the bezel.

You may want to post the link to the watch you're referring to ;)

JTime studio pics often have inaccurate color shading, especially when it comes to gold and reddish/brown tones. I'm betting they got the insert colors spot on.

Do you think this would represent an upgrade over the GMF V6?
Hard to say bro unless you have the SA3285 in which case it would be better. The CF GMT bezels are historically bad though, on all the GMFs I've had/have the bezels work nicely and no grease! Ofc wait and see some QCs and actual pics but I think this will be another top choice from CF. If your GMF is doing it for you it's probably not worth a swap.

The sample Li is showing has a misaligned bezel. This is a common issue with CF GMTs and the fix is not simple or without risk.

Look how many of these Pepsi's have the issue

To more fully assess the sample CHNR, observe that when a watch is oriented so that the date window is centered in the cyclops, it pushes the apparent position of a properly aligned bezel triangle to the LEFT of the 60 minute tic. Li's pics show the bezel triangle RIGHT of the 60 minute tic with the date window centered in the cyclops. So it's misaligned. Is it a one-off or an indicator of past tendencies? Only time will tell.

KJ, isn't this an easy part to fix? By rotating the insert ?
The GMT detents are spaced every 2 1/2 minutes apart, so the sample is not showing a bezel that is "one click" off, like a Sub.

The insert is stuck in the bezel with two sided tape. To get it out the bezel has to come off then the insert pried loose. All the remaining sticky goo has to be cleaned off the insert and the bezel. Not to mention the ton of grease CF is famous for and the the other ill fitting bezel assembly parts. Also, removing the bezel can pull off the retaining ring and crystal creating more work.

There is risk of scratching the case. the bezel, cracking the insert, mangling the hytrel ring, etc. All because an assembler has a lazy eye or is under too much stress from local police.
