I am pleased to report an update!
So I took this beast down to this local mom and pop jeweler. Like I said before, this guy has been a watchsmith for almost 60 years so when I took it in he said he would find out whats wrong with it. Within 2 hours of dropping it off, he called me and said it was perfect and ready to go. After he took apart the movement piece by piece he noticed metal shavings in parts of the gears and that was the problem! Now it runs like a champ and it only cost me 30 bux for the repair!
Awesome.
