the think is with all reps they are not all the same maybe some vsf has better cases.... mine vsf had problem on the case was wrong .

Like many others, I have followed ZF since it's over hyped and disappointing release. The CG's were too short which is why it was not popular. It also had unacceptable SEL gaps which were later fixed. The rest of the watch was similar quality to VSF and the Hulk dial was better.
If you see something different, perhaps you have an updated ZF. Can you post some pics please and I will give my opinion if your CG's are like gen or not.

Gen and VSF CG's and lugs are 1:1 as far as I am concerned. Actually, Gen and VSF 116 case is 1:1 as far as I'm concerned (rehaut angle aside)..

I only have my VSF left. I can try and look through my emails for the QC. Yea unfortunately their QC is absolutely horrendous. I've seen some domed inserts to flush bracelet and SEL crap from them.

I still think the Vsf looks good in certain lighting . I think the dial print and text is also better than ZF, and let’s be honest most People aren’t going to be able to tell. No1 is gonna spot the cg, rehaut or dial printing when it’s on your wrist

It's more for the OCD people. 90% of the time you would do fine with a BP on the wrist lol. Though up next to gen no replica can stand.

No question about it, VSF Hulk dial is the weakest link in another wise strong release. The VSF116610LN (black) is a better rep in this respect. ZF Hulk dial was marginally better but I have read/seen on this forum that the ZF dial is not enough of an improvement to warrant replacing the VSF one, it's a little darker but mostly because it is still wrong. Now if you want a Hulk dial that kicks ass, you need to source a BP dial - show 'em KJ..

These were in my phone with a bunch other so I'm not sure if it's rejected or accepted QC but it's ZF either way for sure.

i think on reps the biggest issue is the cyclops... if they cant see that it is a rep from the cyclops then they never find out its a rep couse of the light green... the first step on every rep is the crystal cyclops on reps is really far away from gens... after that if you have vsf hulk the dial follows.... but they need to know about this model and they are deep in this hobby

Depends on the environment you are in. I would suggest gen crystal for most and your good to go. I'm around current and former professional athletes more so smurfs, Daytona and RG skydweller are the Rolex I see. The gen crystal and hands are a must. Unfortunately the precious metal reps are a big No for me.

The CG's look more similar to the early 116610, though I still feel they are a hair's width too shy but they are the next best to VSF imo.. and they look better than any refinished gen 116610, which by the way there are thousands with fucked CG's and folk pay £10,000+ for them so it matters not a whisker!

I'm talking about how VSF CG stick out more. Once you see it it's instant tell. Mac posted a pic of the backs. You can see where I highlighted why the CG looks bad in the front. Also if you look closer at the edges you can see why the VSF feels sharp in hand and gives some people that cheap feel. It's just because it wasn't properly finished. Soften the edges would do wonders for it.

The only small difference on the VSF is how close to the case the crown sits when screwed in. On gen Subs there is always a small gap which varies on reps of all factories but iS a small flaw of the VSF.

ZF CG has better finishing to me. Less boxy and more softer looking than VSF. VSF looks boxy and sharp.

Max these are not polished 2018 and 2020 gen hulk. They don't look boxy and sharp they look properly finished with soft edges. I can't find a pic of a gen with CG like the VSF.

Even tobel back shot of the VSF and gen are different shapes.

Mhmm is it possible that LV and LN used different cases? Surely not? Even rolex can't be this extra.

Here's a photo of a gen LN I found online, looks quite sharp like VSF. I swear I have seen a gen hulk that have the same CG but I can't seem to find it anymore haha, a lot of image results online does show softer CG. I'm now confused.
