I put it on an Omega Croc strap today. It suits it better I think. But the strap needs to be broken in.

I am so impatiently waiting for mine! O bought an SS version but im starting to get the vintage bug really bad!!

I have someone offering this to me, what do you think!

Remember the old ones are small, mine is 33mm and it takes a bit of adjustment to get used to it. I do like that one and the strap really works on it. It looks like someone dd a nice job removing the tritum as well to stop the dial pitting, so it looks like it was looked after. Is it plated or solid? The plating seems to last very well on these compared to some others of their time.

Do not go too mad on price but a Seamaster is a cut above mine.

Was that a 39mm Speedy on your wrist? If so the 35mm would be fine. Because of the small bezel this will have quite a presence.

I can only say go with your heart here :)

OK in fairness that statement nearly has me broke and divorced but you get what I am saying.

I gotchu! But my heart makes me buy too many watches :lmao:

What i am hesitant about is actually the gold rather than the size! I am a very to myself type of guy, i hate any type of attention if you know what i mean! But my watch collector side is having an incredibly hard time risisting it!! Maybe 35mm in yellow gold wont be as loud as i think because of the size?

I really love how you can go from 44mm AP to a 33mm Omega!!! Thats a true watch enthusiast move
