Where would you find a gen dial?
Even if you did would you pay 2-3k?
For me ARF dial mod is good enough
Yes, I would pay +2k€ for a GEN 116500 White Dial
Ok so is the best option still a noob v2.2 with a ARF dial? Or is the noob V2.2 dial as good as the arf? Thoughts?
Also so just wondering does a gen dial fit into a noob?
The ARF dial is better than the 2.2.
I have a load of dials that I've bought over time and on the 116500 the ARF just can't be beaten. When you compare it to gen (I've only bought gen 116520/116523/166528 daytona dials but I have gen yachtmaster and datejust dials too, there's something about the ARF that the noob just doesn't have. Aside from the ROLEX font issue, which is really tiny on the wrist and not so easy to see, there's a little glisten in the markers, a crispness in the lettering and just a general finish that looks like Rolex factory. BP have had it with many of their dials too.

(...) or is it something difficult and I need to find a proper experienced watch repair person to do so?
You need to trim the dial by roughly 1mm, seems a small amount but it's actually quite a large amount of material. It needs to be done on a lathe for a good finish. So those of you that do mods to to your watch, such as dial swapping, do you do these mods yourself or do you get it done from somewhere? Is it something easy to do? I know I can’t do it myself but can I find any guy who deals with watch repair to do it or is it something difficult and I need to find a proper experienced watch repair person to do so?

Funny but good question, I make things including watchesY do u have all this machinery?
Is there a colour preference in what’s closer to a gen? Black or the white? Or are both the same
The White Panda Noob is the most popular and close to Gen, but the White ARF dial still has better overall quality even though the sub-dials are slightly thinner than Gen.
.
The Black Noob sub-dials are still slightly thicker than Gen, and the silver finish is too shinny. The Black ARF dial also has better overall quality and a more correct matte silver finish on the sub-dials, but they are also slightly thicker than Gen, like the Noob.

Gen left and ARF right?
