About the sel, using an Arf bracelet it's going to be better?
Hi all,
i just got my second round of QCs from pure time for an ARF Daytona V2.
i was wondering if anyone would like to share their opinion on how it looks.
everything looks fine to me except that the 6 o’clock marker appears to be a bit off to the left from the “120” marker on the bezel
any opinions would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!
It is not uncommon for the "120" marker on the bezel to be a little off like that on an ARF.
It is uncommon for the dial to not be centered in the case and for the large chrono hand to not be centered at 12.
Just checking, have you wound it up?
Hi I've wound it but it seems to need winding every morning, although I don't wear it too often. I'm not bothered by having to wind it every time I wear it and set the time. But it just feels like the movement will not be very dependable and I'll need to service it as some point when it goes totally kaput.
Do you know when came out new Noob 2.2. version of other daytona's model respect those now on the market?
- The 904L V2 case was released in August 2018 and this Updated "V2.2" dial was released in February of 2019.
How many times did you turn the crown?
The Daytona with the in-house movement has a power reserve of around 72 hours, and needs around 50-60 full turns clockwise to fully wind from stopped. But as you cannot over-wind it don't matter if you do a few more, movements like the cal 3135 need around 40.
Some pictures underneath a few bridges from a service today. Not too bad just a complete lack of any sort of lubricant, which will cause problems long term. Considering the investment made in these reps, servicing is a good idea imo.
On the gen forum, Daytona owners are saying you should turn it about 60 times.
