thats strange.. always thought Verbal was an ok guy. Known him for a while on RWG, but he had a falling out, and landed on RG to make a new home recently. Hopefully you get it sorted out

Isn't using a company's shipping to send out your own goods a big taboo? I know where I work it is, especially if you are paying an additional $104 for that bullshit service. However, even if that service was true, and he is shipping watches from Volvo, and say he shipped out oh, a dozen watches, hasn't he ripped off the company for close to $1500?

To play devil's advocate, you have already laid out the situation fairly well and no one else other than you two are involved in the situation, so commentary from anyone else is not seemingly revelant...
Locking it does prevent VK from responding, which is why we have left it open... neither course of action is incorrect...

Each forum has it's own way of handling things I guess. Just see how it pans out, maybe pm the mods over there for progress reports and if nothing is resolved post to warn other members about the seller. I hope it works out for you as it's not nice being ripped by fellow members, especially when they're ex-mods...good luck...

I know what you're saying... but to be fair, I don't know that anyone has heard both sides of the story... if VK was a member of staff there, I could see the logic behind locking it up and waiting for his side of the story to disposition it...
It's just a difference in philosophies.. and if this thread had turned into a VK bashing, then it would have been locked up... we keep it open for status updates and for VK to have the ability to tell his side... his silence on the subject is deafening though...

I have no wish to bash VK, i'm just pissed that this happened and yet he refused to keep in touch. It took me 2-3 dayhs before i posted the full story after the initial post. I had hope that he would come in and thrash things out but he didn't. I had waited for another day before posting in geeks but still no response.
If it had genuinely been a matter of the article being lost or confiscated by the German customs then its fine by me.
But to simply ignore all correspondences is just plain showing me his hand.
Civil, moderated discussion of a difficult deal is a testament to the need for and effectiveness of RWI/RG/RWG.
