Hello everyone, I have read the entire post carefully and I am particularly interested in knowing if it would be possible to obtain a complete bridge with a hairspring and balance wheel for an 8906 Planet Ocean GMT. Due to my clumsiness I broke the hairspring and the watch has only been with me for 4 months. I would greatly appreciate your help, and please excuse me for using Google Translate.
I think its a 2892 hairspring, that maybe some watchmaker can fix for you. Unfortunately this movement is not sold in public. The classic watchmaker lesson ist: if you can't fix it or get spareparts, don't improve or touch it;)

First: a huge thank you for that detailed guide.

I searched in this thread but couldn't find anything about reinstalling the rotor.

Since it is mentioned in the first post, the washer and the black thingy are glued down, what glue would be suiteable to reinstall the rotor?
My rotor on an A8900(seems to be the same at least for the rotor) is kind of noise so I wanted to give it a cleaning a and a drop of Mobius.

Teeny tiny drop of super glue? Bad idea? Any other glue you would recommend? Thanks
I always use a latex based glue for the washer if it doesn't stick, which is flexible and you can undo it for future services. Superglue makes it fixed forever. Another option is to cut a matching piece of dialtape and put it between the screw and the grey disc+washer

To everyone who has the idea to change the VSF movement to somthing of the shelf: its a big mess. Yes, the hands qill fit on a 28XX movement. But nothing else will fit. Neither the stem height, not the cannon pinion height, not the Datewheel. The VSF movement has the diameter of about the 7750. So there is a huge difference in all secs. Regarding the reasonable price for an VSF AquaTerra, the best option is to buy one M2M and spare it out to fit into the broken Watch. The movement will also fit into a SMPO, a Deville or Constellation. You just have to swap the datewheel or optional add the GMT wheels from the old watch on top if it has that complication.

You are absolutely right. Around here, people also say "shoemaker, stick to your last", which was the price I paid for sticking my nose into things that don't concern me. Thanks for the clarification.
