jptrosch - This is probably the most exciting build project journey that I have enjoyed in this forum. I recently purchased the new 5712 rep and have been using your wrist pics for comparisons
Absolutely - this is something to treasure for some time.

Likewise for me as well and im sure most people following. It was great to see it come together and I'm sure the feeling is one of a kind and very incredible.
So what's the next project?
It’s been bothering me for a few days now... I’m not sure where I go from here. I’ve been checking eBay and Chrono24 religiously for something unique to use as the starting point for a build but I’m coming up dry.
Maybe 5 or 6 years ago there was an Hublot tourbillon movement listed on chrono24. I still beat myself up for not grabbing it. I even tried getting them to tell me who bought it.
what about a 3700 dial, gen hands and a 2121 from somewhere?
...slapped into an old modded BP case of that reference.
There is a listing on C24 at 4K ish.
I'm sure nothing will beat your build in regards to dedication but a nice vintage patek build always fascinated me.

EDIT: just checked that BP only made a half decent 3800 case. But Those gen dials go for way less than a 3700 dial... Only issue is the movement in this scenario.

Does a gen Dial of the 5712 fits into a PPF 5712 ?
