@Jameshut also make sure to properly read the forum rules before you decide to do anything else. Should help avoiding misunderstandings and uneasy conversations.

Beautiful Gen Dial Mark... You really have become a Great Hands-on Daytona Expert!
Thanks for posting so much of your experience with Reps and Gens on these forums.

What other parts did you choose to use with this new 116500?

Thank you bro.

I currently have the gen dial and crystal mounted, and the CF V3 bezel. I'm waiting for the gen hands and maybe I'll buy the bezel, but I'm very undecided about this, all gen bezel owners say it's really identical to the new CF. If the engravings of the CF lose brilliance then I will buy the ring gen. What do you think about it?

I think you would be smart to try the CF bezel first to see how well it holds up to your expectations.

Is the rest of the watch CF or BTF based?

Penso che saresti intelligente a provare prima la lunetta CF per vedere quanto bene soddisfa le tue aspettative.

Il resto dell'orologio è basato su CF o BTF?
BTF base

That's interesting, as I have seen you post many times favoring the CF 116500... I assume that you would lean towards the CF "out of the box" because the dial is so much better.
Right observation my friend. I examined gen cases very carefully and compared my gen 116520 year 2016 with a 116500 from 2022, the cases are different (obviously almost imperceptible details), the case of the 520 is slightly fuller and less sharp exactly like CF case , while that of the 500 is exactly as thin as BTF. So in my 2 franken 520s I put the CF cases while in the 500 I'm using the BTF base. Obviously OOTB I prefer the CF due to the better dial and bezel.

Yes bro :) I mounted some aftermarket hands waiting for the gen set
Hi’
Great with all the input on the upgrade parts of your watch. Do you know where I can source a gen 116500 hand set with blue superlume? I really having trouble finding one.
