There is a great colour difference between Nikz's whitegold plating method and gen whitegold bezel. No disrespect but it sounds like you've never had the two in hand before to see.

I’m not sure what you mean. There have been plenty of us that have had a gen bezel next to a Nikz plated bezel in hand side by side which is why we made the statement. Not to mention a page back in this thread shows that comparison side by side in the photo lol.
No pun intended, but quite a few members know I had a batch of defective plating solution which led to color change over time. Each and every one of them who reached out had their bezels/watches plated back with the new solution free of charge. Everyone else (gen owners included) never complained, even people done years ago
You could have just reached out like the others did if you felt anything could have been wrong. I have the batch dates- if your bezel was done in between those that will be FOC.

Needs abit of cleaning, but you a WG plated fluted bezel is a must for datejusts in my books...
They look the same to me! PMing Nikz now.I got my VSF's bezel plated by Nikz and it was absolutely spot on.
Yogibear Nikz plates with multiple layers of different precious metals including yellow gold. Which is why it has the exact same hue as a gen bezel, see below shot besides a gen DJ.

CF V2 bezel is identical to gen! You can't see difference ;-)

Is you familiar if they white gold plate it from the factory? The color looks exactly the same as the other watch

it very much depends on the light and what they are reflecting. Look at the one on the left, the small middle links of the bracelet also look like they have a yellow hue when they are in Stainless Steel
If i go full franken route whit gen dial, hands, dwo, crystal, crown & tube i will consider to install a gen WG bezel. But if you are going to light franken (like gen dwo and crystal only) Nickz plated WG it is very well done to my eyes and good enough for a stock rep / light franken piece whitout invest in a gen one

Gen crystal hands and dial. I would love to put this beside a gen. Dying to know how close it is. It definitely looks more gold depending on the light but I must say, the bezel seems to always match the color of the hands and dial. The gold parts stand out from the steel.
