A few things:Flandad, for the watch that I received what would be a tell tale sign that it has or hasn't been replated?
1) I use palladium in the mix for RG so it will have a lighter more pale appearance in bright light or sun and won’t get that dark copper look.
2) I use a cobalt hardness so it’s very durable. You could sacrifice a link and scratch it. You could also take some cape cod and work it on half the middle link until you remove the plating and start to hit the stock base pvd that was acid etched vs the plated half.
3) I do a final dry polish so it would of been extremely clean and with a luster shine

4) under a loop on the clasp crown you might be able to see where I missed hard to get to crevices in the final polish and missing any areas, maybe not always the case.
