Have just sent an email one week ago to: "[email protected]" , paid 40 euros (shipping included for France).
Received the part yesterday, and my 216570 works fine again !
Clickspring is thicker but totally interchangeable without modification so very easy to do...you can buy in confidence

I have just placed an order for one of these click springs.

Does anyone have a video or step by step tutorial on how to replace it?

This is great, thank you for the help.

This is my first time taking a watch apart, I am an engineer by trade but a little nervous as it looks very fiddly. do you recommend a particular holder to put the movement in to undertake these works? also are there any absolute must have tools? I bought a watch repair kit and case openers but it all looks very basic.

Many thanks again.

I highly recommend you practice removing hands and a dial on a cheap watch before working on a higher quality rep. I've never known anyone who did this the first time without botching it up somehow. It's very easy to bend or scratch hands or the dial, and resetting GMT hands on a rep is especially challenging to get all hands synched correctly due to play in the gears.

Just to report I have fixed an exploded noob GMT a member here sent to me , he ordered the part from Bens , the part seems more rigid , hopefully it will last for time to come.
