So let me answer.
Hont does not regulate the watch. It would mean to open the watch and that would void the Factory guarantee.
He puts it on the time grapher when he gets it from the factory and sends a pic over in QC as proof that the watch is working. Chances are that if the readings are out of whack, he just returns the watch for exchange until he gets one that’s ok.
When I sell a watch, I send a preship video via whatsapp. Same thing.
As a note,
Regulating a watch from -17 to +/-2 takes me just a few minutes, provided the beat error and amplitude are ok.
But as I send the preship video, I never send Timegrapher pics, exactly to avoid having to deal with people like you who don’t understand what shipping can do to a watch.
