I might order one and be super fucking gentle with it im starting to need that RM 55 BBR v2. Had multiple people tell me who have owned it for a year or so that it seems good.

Watchermakers on the forum say it is a stable movement but it is not stable to shock whatsoever (ironic really considering it's the first "golf watch") and can overbank. I'm starting to think I might take the gamble for 700$ if it's this sick.

Thanks for the reply bro! It settles it for me. I'm buying BBR v2 in white and EITHER Sonic F or TF RM35-01 but probably TF since it's cheaper and basically the same.

Are they not the same? Sorry for giving bad advice I'm new to RMs. Is that not the BBR clone? Either way, I definitely recommend he buy an RM.

Do you have any recommendations as to what is the best RM35-01? Sonic, BBR, T+? They all seem like good choices. Thanks in advance

Are we sure it's Dandong? The balance wheel is clearly free-sprung and last I heard they couldn't do FS balances, instead farming it out to smaller custom shops like the "superclone" Patek movement with FSBs I've seen. Personally I think we keep being shown a gen movement because it makes people lose their minds, get confused, and vastly overpay for a stock rep, which we see even in this thread.

As Prizon says it is not gen, you can see some minor differences with gen if you look closely, price will be similar to the Patek calibers as far as my info goes.

We've been seeing movements like this for at least two years and they've ALL been vaporware. Remember the "Master Dragon" clone? Y'all may be correct but I'll believe it when it's in a watch that one of us is holding in our hands and not a second before.

I do hope you're right, I'd spend a few grand on a fully-functional working rep with clone movement, but I'll remain skeptical till we get hands-on and not just videos from Chinese randos.

Thats what i was told, maybe they work with smaller factories and just market it. I’ll keep you posted and will definitely get one if it’s around the same price as the patek movement.
