As a newbie to Reddit, subsequently leading to RWI, I decided to use Theonewatches.

28 Oct – Placed my order via the website for the latest CF version of the 116500LN (Panda). Order acknowledged by Steve with payment details. Opened an account with Wise (formally Transferwise) as Western Union was listed as suspended. Additional 5% discount applied by Steve for using Wise.

29 Oct – Made payment. Advised by Wise, payment would be made to Steve 1 Nov.

1 Nov – Confirmation of payment received from Wise. Order status on website changed to Processing. As Steve advises, if the requested model is not in stock, it could take up to a week to source from the factory.

10 Nov – Received QC photos & videos from Steve. Checked to the best of my abilities and advised Steve to proceed with shipment.

13 Nov – Received tracking information from Steve.

19 Nov – Text received from the UK mail service advising me of the delivery date. As Steve uses his own logistics agent, I didn’t have to worry about customs or any additional ‘international handling’ fees from the UK mail service.

21 Nov - Received the watch. 8 days after getting the tracking information. Approx. 3 weeks after making payment.

End-to-end, a positive experience with Steve. I have no immediate plans to purchase another rep anytime soon (so he says?). But I am currently advising a friend based in the US.

Nice watch! And so far I can confirm on the great service that Steve provides. Haven't received my watch yet, though.
I was just curious about that "own logistics agent" thing and what influence that would have on customs handling?
Asking as an EU citizen...
Cheers

An Independent Freight Agent is someone who partners with a third-party logistics company (3PL) and uses their brokerage license so they can arrange transportation of freight and utilize the support services of that company.

Hello and WELCOME to RWI from the official reception desk team!

You are receiving this reply either because you posted in the "New members say hi" section or because I spotted one of your first posts elsewhere. In the latter case, please consider going to the aforementioned section and introduce yourself.

If you haven't already, please take some time to read the sticky threads in the new members section (all subsections) as they contain information for newbies and most importantly our forum rules! In particular, please take note of our sales rules, because as a brand new member, you will be —under any circumstances— NOT yet eligible to sell.

A good starting point is this list of resources on RWI:

Also, this please take a look at this sticky thread:

If you need further help, please feel free to contact me or @Feefo!

We're always happy to help, but please allow some time for PM responses as we have lifes outside of RWI!
