Hi, everyone. This is my first dive into the rep world. Glad I found such a helpful forum.

After doing a lot of research, I went for @trustytime and Andrew after his superb reputation here.

Communication has been fast and English skills are perfect.

Here’s my order summary:

1 ea. ROLSUB0343A - Submariner 126610LN 41mm 904L SS/SS Blk VSF VS3235
1 ea. ROLSUB0338 - Submariner 116619LB 904L SS/SS Blue VSF VS3135
1 ea. ROLBOX009 - Rolex Boxset 1:1 Version with Booklets & Cards

Andrew was kind enough to provide a 5% coupon code. Got an additional 5% off paying with crypto.

Just processed the payment and am now waiting for confirmation on his side.

Next stop: QC.

Will update my experience here.

Andrew just confirmed payment and was very clear about QC expected time and delivery time.

Once again, super fast follow up!

Just got QC pics from Andrew. And all seems fine.
Requested a couple more pics before GL.

Requested a couple more pics before GL.
I had asked Andrew for additional QC pics:

- Internal watch mechanics (movement);
- Inside of the back plate;
- Photoluminescent dials in the dark;
- Quick video showing date transition;
- Picture of the laser etched crown;

To which he replied:
  • Apologize, we do not take QC videos. The watch has been QC checked ok;
  • We do not take QC pictures of movement as it may damage the waterproofing of the watch. But if you want to review it, I can arrange to do so. Let me know.
  • Yes I'll arrange the lume shot
  • There is a etched crown on the sapphire glass. Our QC camera is unable take a picture of that level. It needs a 10X loupe to see that. It's there.

So yeah, the etched crown is a tough one to catch. Fair enough.

Even though I’ll waterproof the watches again with a watch smith once I get them, I thought, ok, let’s not make this a hassle for him.

Thought it was a bit strange he doesn’t do videos, even if really short just to capture a date change. Is this a standard for most TDs?

But, once again, I’m trusting his reputation here and he said it was ok on both watches.

So I just asked for the lume shot before I could GL.

It’s been over 48h since then and still no reply.

Guess it’s still a reasonable time frame, but at the same time it’s a very simple task on top of everything else he’s done so far.

Taking longer than expected.

Not complaining.
Just making a note of the full experience.

Just got a reply from Andrew with the lume shot from one of the watches. He didn’t refer which model though. Judging by the color I assumed it was the 126610LN since it is kinda “light blue” (and looking good!)

He said he would get back to me with the lume shot of the other one (116619LB - which should be green).

From what I can tell, both readings are within the GL range, right?

Not a pro here, and I absolutely respect Andrew 100%, but the second timegrapher reading tells me you might have to service this watch at some point (it's recommended anyway). Some vets here can probably tell better than I can, but looks to be either a dirty movement as a whole, magnetized or dirt in the escapement/gear train. If you notice the bluesy (hard to tell, it's dark in the photos), the lines are straight and close together (which would indicate a good beat error). I've never RL'd a watch, but my TD also sends videos of timegrapher readings. Just my two cents.

Hey thanks for the observation. It’s much appreciated. Does any other fellow community member feel the same?

Like I said, even though I did my research, I’m new to this…

There are a lot of guys here that know a ton, but I can say that for me 1. I don't like that the timegrapher was stopped after 1 12 second reading and 2: The results on the second watch are a bit "snowy".

@Uhr70 - Hope all is well brother! Would you be able to, or recommend someone here that could give feedback on the 2nd timegrapher result above?

Numbers look good but look at the bigger picture and compare the two. You see straight lines on one, and a lot of "noise" with the other. I've never RL'd a watch. Not yet at least, but I would have an issue with this being that I understand how these work, build watches and regulate timepieces.

So you think the second one “+1s/d” (just for reference) is a RL? Would you be so kind to clarify why that is, based on the timegrapher reading?

Timegrapher isn't just blindly reading numbers. Look at the dots on screen and how inconsistent they are at generating a line. They're all over the place, looks like "snowfall", should be one clean trace line, which is why m5750 suggests a service.
