Well let's call it for what it is, a P.3000 superclone movement with P.5000 decorative plates. ;) Also, although it does have a surprisingly long power reserve being intended only to copy a 3-day movement, the P.3000 can probably comfortably reach only around 140-150 hours or 6 days PR. Plus the accuracy of the movement goes down when the watch is run for more than 3 days without winding starting on a full wind. Anyway, it has no power reserve gauge anywhere so the less than 8 days PR is not really a big deal.

You are the most knowledgeable RWI member I’ve encountered. Wow. Just wow. Bravo.

Should have been more precise ;) BTW, after reading through the "trip to the hell and back" thread i started wondering if I should really have it serviced once it comes or just leave it alone as long as it works...

QC pics are here and I have a couple of specific questions for you guys. Here are the pics:

Lume seem fine, movement through the case back looks like p5000 superclone. I have only 2 small issues, both visible when looking the case from the side: apart from the scratch on the crown guard side, doesn't the crystal look a bit uneven compared to the bezel? As if it was not installed properly? Also, on the dial, maybe it's just me but don't "Luminor Marina" and "Panerai" look not straight compared to the rest of the dial? As if not properly aligned?

Thanks for your feedback!

I don't have 20/20 vision but I don't really see the unevenness you're describing. Also I did the Excel thing where you put lines on the image and the LM and P text look fine (the whole image should be rotated 2 degrees clockwise).

Thanks! I guess i'm falling into the usual noob trap of wanting my first rep to be perfect ;) Will update once I receive the watch!

By the way, should I expect also a Timegrapher pic after the QCs?

The QC pics normally include the timegrapher pic, if the TD provides them anyway.

UPDATE: I received yesterday the watch and I have to say it does look good. Unfortunately the movement looks quite dirty through the case back so it will have to be cleaned up by a watchmaker. Apparently TD sent a different watch from the one I approved as it is visibly different from the QC pics (no scratch on the side, no dust on the dial, but dirty plate on the movement). As it seems to run pretty well since yesterday evening I don't think I will return it but can't say I'm satisfied with the behavior of the TD.

Is the serial number different in the QC pics?

No actually it's the same. Could it be that the movement got so dirty when they opened it to remove the dust from the dial? Yesterday I brought to my watchmaker and the main bridge was really dirty, all around and behind the faux golden wheel as well, which in the QC pics was clearly not visible. Also there is really no trace of the scratch visible on the crown-guard QC pic.

Thanks! The 243 looks good but I think with 44x14 I'm already at the max size I can comfortably wear, therefore submersibles are out for me. Might go for a Rad next ;)

Only one week after receiving my first replica and there is a new one out which ticks all the boxes...if I were to design my own PAM it would look exactly like this!!

PAM 1351 has tobacco dial, gold minute and hour hands, blue small seconds, vintage lume and titanium case, looks amazing:

This hobby starts to become addictive very fast...

You may find that those boxes that need ticking will change in time. So you have to buy another PAM. :)
