Ok, so my order was shipped via USPS, and I asked him for a status update. He literally just told me the same thing. "Flight is scheduled to take off this Saturday".

I got the tracking info 2 weeks ago, so that's two Saturday's it's had to get to the US. There's no way both FedEx AND USPS planes only fly out of China on Saturdays...
Any update?

Received mine today! Despite that being odd mine did take off Friday. The Steve collective is the man

My summer blue came in today

Some minor defects (my dealer didn't accept any RL because it was no stock left), but overall, I'm impressed. (Bracelet has burn marks, dial has some dust or something on the edges). It has the classic minor drunken VSF markers but this is barely noticeable in real life.

The lume application is terrible - very grainy/uneven on the hands and the numerals. Guess they got sloppy and used whatever they have left to build it.

However, I forgot how wonderful VSF crystal is, it's almost invisible on the Seamaster at some angles.

Overall, I'd been disappointed if I paid $400 for it. For $240 shipped it was a no brainer. In 5 years I'll have people begging to buy it off of me! :ROFLMAO:

It's much better in real life than photos. I think in photos, the rep summer blue looks cheap. But in real life it looks very premium, the color and the shading.

I await my SM 42 mm blue on white...it is in that shipping purgatory right now (out of TD hands, not registered in US.)

Happy new watch. It's a cracker 👍🏻I was thinking about going for a VSF Omega with the A2824 movement, was put off with the crown stem issue. So as a Noob do I just go for it at the discounted price and not worry about it....

I have a couple of other watches with the same movement but not Omega, their all good as they only have occasional wear. Cheers.

Mate, I didn't plan on it either… but somehow I convinced myself that this Omega Seamaster was not just a want - it was a life necessity. So there I was, mid-toothbrush, foaming at the mouth like a lunatic, frantically messaging Steve.

At first, he broke my heart - “none left,” he says. I nearly dropped my electric Philips sonicare in despair. But lo and behold, 10 minutes later the legend comes back like a watch fairy godmother: “I’ve got 3 left.” Boom. First time buying from Steve, first time dipping my toe into Omega waters via the VSF express lane, of course.

Now I wait… like a Bond villain plotting world domination...but with slightly better taste in wristwear. Worth it? Probably. Necessary? Absolutely not. Regret? Ask me after the wristroll....
