Nope. Eliot did reply late last night. Did not come in this shipment. Next is in 10 days.

No reply / response today. This is the first time he's never responded to me within, at most, a few hours of a single, polite message requesting the promised update.

Now I'm getting pretty worried.

9/7/2024 - Eliot did respond yesterday but the bad news is that my watch was not with this shipment. The next shipment is in 10 days. I might look for another watch on his site but I'm not interested in any of the PAM's he has on hand.

9/7/2024 - We tried to figure out a way to swap the order to the ARF Yatchmaster, but because of the PP closure and the danger to Eliot in sending WU now (my small-town credit union blocks Wise and any wire to China), I decided to not switch. I may be getting frustrated waiting so long but I'm not going to put someone else in danger for a fucking watch.

I wonder if you could get a disposable credit card they sell at the stores? They are Visa & MasterCards. Trust me I know your frustration on waiting & waiting. You are doing the right thing by not putting him or them in danger for a watch like that one person did. I'm sure you guys can work something out and agree on something. Stay positive. Reach out to him and see what y'all can come up with.

Sadly wise doesn't work with pre paid cards. I considered opening up a checking account somewhere that would allow wise but my better half was not happy with the idea.

Eliot told me that it will be a minimum of 10 more days till the next VSF shipment. If my 389 is not there then I will open another bank account to wire him the difference for the YM.

VS is apparently only releasing a batch once a month at this rate, all VS orders have been slow I've noticed in the last 3 weeks. I know it's cliched but just trust the TD and sit tight and wait.

I meant it's been 10 days since the last VSF delivery. My order was 44 days ago. I'm still waiting on QC.

Eliot messaged me back last nite with pics of tons of available watches, just no Pam 389 :-(
He does have a Pam 968 on hand if you want a Bronzo 47mm..

Ill wait a few more weeks and if not in , ill switch to the new Clean Polar Explorer II

Yeah, I had the same on-hand photo a while back. None of them was anything I wanted.
If there's nothing by the end of the week, I will swap to the Yacht-Master. Seeing other people getting VSF watches is annoying while we're both stuck in limbo.

Very possibly. They might be waiting for more people to order before they commit their assembly line to making them (no point retooling for two watches). That's fine - I just wish I'd known ahead of time. I was told 8-9 days but it is what it is. I can always switch to another watch and put a standing order in for the PAM.

The new VSF list/delivery came in after the Chinese holiday. My watch is not on there.
Changed my order to another that is supposedly in stock. Waiting on QC for this one now.
